Another day in Shantivan, Arnav was in a surprisingly good mood today, Anjali had requested him to stay at home for helping Arav with one of his school projects. And contrary to popular belief, Arnav had agreed without much of a fuss.

Khushi was working in the kitchen preparing evening snacks for the family with the help of the staff, HP and OP. Payal was also helping her.

"Jiji.." Khushi whispered gaining the attention of her elder sister.

"Haan (Yes)" Payal answered

Khushi didn't respond for a while, "Nahi.. Jiji. Kuch nahi (No.. Its nothing)" Khushi shrugged it off.

Payal washed her hands and cupped her face in her palms. "There's nothing? Are you sure?" Payal asked

"Haan jiji..(Yes Jiji) its just my brain working overtime" Khushi assured her.

"Tu theek hai na Khushi? (You're fine right Khushi?)" Payal asked concerned

"Haan jiji.. Fikar mat karo.. tum toh jaanti ho hum kitne paagal hai.. (Yes jiji.. don't worry.. You know how crazy I am)" Khushi said

Payal sighed and left the topic. Knowing well that she wasn't going to get anything out of Khushi for the time being.

After a while, Everyone was sitting chatting amongst themselves when Payal, Khushi and Hari Prakash entered with the evening tea jalebis and Pakoras respectively.

"Khushi ji.. Oh You've made Jalebis" Anjali squealed excitedly making Khushi smile at her.

"Haan Di.. Bahut dinn ho gaye the sochaa Aaj jalebi banaa lete hain! (Yes Di.. it'd been quite a few days now. So I thought I should make jalebi today)" Khushi said sweetly

"Acha kiya bitiya..(You did good Bitiya)"

"Par.. Yeh sab kitna oily hota hai.. Aur kitna unhealthy bhi (But.. All this is so oily and so unhealthy)" Sheetal said making a face

Khushi smiled at her.

"Unhealthy nahi hota sheetalji.. Bas.. Thoda heavy zaroor hota hai.. Aaj tak hindustan mein toh yeh sab khaakar koi kabhi beemar padaa nahi.. Videshon mein bhi Hindustaani khaanon ki maang din par din barhh hi rahi hai. (Its not unhealthy Sheetalji.. Just a little heavy.. No one has fallen ill after consuming this stuff at least in India.. Even in other countries, The demand for Indian foods is increasing day-by-day)" Khushi explained

Sheetal smiled at her

Khushi put some freshly made Jalebis and Pakoras in a plate and put them in front of Arav and Arnav.

"Arav doesn't like such oily stuff" Sheetal said.

"Agar.. Khana chaaho toh buri nahi hoti vaise.. jalebiyaan Aur Arnav ji ko bhi acchi lagti hai.. Haina Arnavji? (If you decide to eat.. jalebis are not that bad actually. And even Arnavji likes them. Right Arnavji?)" Khushi asked

Arnav nodded still not looking at her and continued to converse with Arav. Khushi drew a deep breath to control herself from lashing out on her Laad-governor's behaviour. Sheetal smirked seeing them

"Aap yeh kyon kar rahe hain yeh mein nahi jaanti Arnavji.. lekin ab shaayad, Baat bahut lambi khinch rahi hai. Bass karte hain Please (I don't know what you think you are doing this for, But.. now I think the matter is being stretched unnecessarily. Lets stop please)" Khushi whispered to Arnav.

"Kya kar raha hoon mein Khushi?(What am I doing Khushi?)" Arnav asked making the family look at them apprehensive

"K-Kamre mein baat karte hain Arnavji(Let's talk in the R-Room)" Khushi responded surprised.
