Feeling as if someone had clawed his heart in a painful grip, He stopped his SUV somewhere on the outskirts of the city

"HOW COULD YOU?? HOW COULD YOU KHUSHI!?!?! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME??" Arnav cried bitterly

"Arnavji.. You'll never leave me Alone Right?" Khushi asked. Her head resting on his chest. A content smile playing on her lips.

"Never Khushi... Never in a million years" Arnav assured stroking her cheek lovingly

"I kept my Promise Khushi... I did. I never left you alone. I-I never even thought-"

"Agar tumhe kisi aur se pyaar ho Gaya toh? (What if you fell in love with someone else?)" Arnav asked

"Jis din iss Dil ne aapke liye dhadakna band kar dia... Uss din yeh dil dhadakna band kar dega (The day my heart will stop beating for you... It'll stop beating altogether)" Khushi said

"JHOOT!!!! JHOOT... SAB JHOOT!! (LIE!!!! LIE.... EVERYTHING IS A LIE!!)" Arnav screamed

"Tumhara dil... Ab mere liye nahi Dhadakta Khushi... (Your Heart... doesn't beat for me now. Khushi)" Arnav sobbed

"Arnavji Ko dekha aapne Di?? (Di... Have you seen Arnavji??)" Khushi asked

"Nahi Khushiji... Kyu kuch kaam Thaa?? (No Khushiji... Why was something important??)" Anjali asked

"Aa jaeinge Chote... Don't worry. Aap so Jaiye (Chote will come.. Don't worry. You go and sleep)" Anjali said

Arnav entered Shantivan long after midnight. His eyes were Red and Swollen due to all the crying.

He entered the Kitchen and found the Kitchen lights on.

Khushi was sleeping with her head on the table,

Why did she care to wait for me... How does it matter to her whether I have my dinner or not??

Arnav sat beside her on the chair and had his dinner noiselessly. He couldn't keep his eyes off her the whole time he took to have his dinner.

He knew she must've had her dinner long ago. Even if she denied.. His family never let her wait for him to have her dinner if he got too late.

For what felt like hours, His heart and Mind debated on whether to wake her up or not

In the end He gently scooped her up in his arms.
