Arnav turned around only to find himself face to face with a man in his late forties

"Yash Uncle? What a surprise" Arnav exclaimed

"Ah... You've grown up into a handsome man Arnie" Yash said

"Thank You uncle... It's been such long time. I wasn't even expecting to see you" Arnav said

"So... I'm Yash uncle now?" Yash complained

"Sorry Baba... But- But Long time Baba... I missed you so much" Arnav said hugging Yash

"God... I missed you too Arnie. Fourteen years, I'm so sorry Arnie I know that wasn't the time to leave.. I'm sorry Baccha" Yash said apologetically

"I- I w...wanted you. We both wanted you. Di was broken... And you just left" Arnav sobbed

"I know... I know, I'm sorry Arnie, I'm sorry" Yash said patting his back consoling him

Arnav broke the hug after a few minutes

"How's everyone else? Tripti Di, Badi Maa Rishu" Arnav asked

"Tripti is fine, Badi ma an..and Rishu... Sh..Should be fine. They're in a better place than us... Aren't they?" Yash said biting back his sobs

"Now isn't the time Arnav, I've come to attend a wedding, You're the brother of the Groom, This... Isn't the time for these talks is it?" Yash asked

"Accha..  No problem, Let me introduce you to my husband" Anjali said and Introduced Shyam to Yash

"Anjali is my eldest daughter Shyamji... And she's a very special part of my life... And my family, Her paren- Her mother was a very very beautiful person by heart and so are her children. I didn't see her for years, But that doesn't mean I forgot her. This is a humble request from a father to a son... Always love her Shyamji... She has seen much in her life...  She needs not bear anymore. Always keep her happy Shyamji. Just please" Yash pleaded

"Baba... Anjali has told me all about you... You're a very important part of her life ...And I know all about her too... I really love her very much Baba... I'll never even think of abandoning her... Never, She'll always be the one who's most important in my life" Shyam assured softly

Yash smiled

"So where is my best friend?" Anjali asked

"Tripti is on her way... She was stuck in traffic with her fiance" Yash said

"Oh... She got engaged? That is great, So they're both coming?" Anjali asked

"Yeah... Payal insisted on bringing him, They get along quite nicely you know" Yash said

"Payal? She... Has invited you?" Arnav asked

"Uh, Yup. She's my niece, Garima Gupta is my sister in law" Yash said

"Oh, Really? Baba... Where is Meera? I mean... Is she not coming?" Anjali asked

"She's here Anjali... She's already here. Didn't you see her? Oh No you wouldn't have... I myself haven't seen her for ages, But she's here" Yash said a little sadly

"Arnie... You remember, Ratna wanted you two to get married?" Yash asked

"I know... I remember Baba..." Arnav said awkwardly

"Hey... Come with me" Yash said escorting Arnav away from the crowded living room

"Do you love someone Arnav?" Yash asked

"Baba... I really considered the possibility of you coming back... But Baba she was just a small girl she-" Arnav tried to explain but Yash Cut him off

"Arnie... You're sounding like her now, Stop ranting. So you love someone? Who's she? Who's the lucky girl?" Yash asked

"She... Baba, Is moving on the  Right thing? Meera isn't waiting for me is she?" Arnav asked

"Arnav... Everyone has the right to love, And the girl who gets your love, Will be the luckiest, As for Meera... She's not waiting for anyone, She-  Anyway, Now tell me, Who snatched my Arnie from his Dulhan?" Yash asked

"Her name is Khushi... She's living with-"

"Does she love you back Arnie?" Yash asked cutting him off

"I... Yeah, She does... I mean, We've not confessed it yet but, I kinda know it's mutual, I mean... I know we share something that is more than friendship" Arnav said remembering the kiss, The almost kiss

"And you think you moved on?" Yash asked

"What?" Arnav asked confused

"Arnav... Khushi is none other than Meera, She's Khushi for you, And Meera for me. You love your childhood sweetheart only. You never moved on" Yash said smiling at him

"But how can Khushi be Meera? And how's it that she didn't guess I'm her Arnie, We've been together almost everyday since after Akash and Payal got engaged. We've met a million times before that why didn't she mention her name is Meera" Arnav asked

"That, Arnav calls for a long story to be told, Which probably will Answer every query you might have" Yash said and with a deep breath, Started narrating "The Story"
