Maine's POV:
I was in the middle of a conversation with Aria, somewhere in break time this pleasant Monday. We were talking about my issues with some of my friends.

Then, this subject came into mind....

"Maine," Aria called. "Gossip has it that Geo finally confessed."

She said the word confessed as if it was a bad thing.

"Oh- uh, yeah." I nodded. "Just yesterday actually."

"What?!"

"Yup."

"Oh please," she placed her palm on her cheek and an elbow on the desk. "Tell me more."

Flashback

Maine's POV:
"It's yoooouuuuu."

There was a short pause before I could even process what he said. Then, I snapped back to my senses.

"Oh." I sat up. "What? Me?"

"Yeah." He shrugged.

"Me too," I yawned.

"What?!" He asked hysterically.

"I mean, yeah, I liked you.... before." I shrugged.

"Oh."

There was silence.

"Um, I always seem to feel that something when I'm with you. But then, I always felt that you weren't interested in what I say, or in me generally." I said to him. "So I lost interest, and decided to move on."

"It's his face," Cherry comments. "It looks dull, like a poker face."

I giggled. "True!"

He kept quiet.

I didn't even know if this was awkward for him, but I was used to these little confessions that happen in my life every once in a while.

"So Geo," I held out a hand to shake. "Still friends?"

"Of course." He gladly shook it.

"And that concludes the whole scene yesterday," I said to Aria.

"Damn," Aria had wide eyes. "Well, that went smoothly."

"It surprisingly did." I nodded.

"Well," she stood. "Thanks for the story. I've gotta go, see ya!"

In a flash, she ran off to someplace until she was out of sight.

Aria's POV:
HOLY CRAP! I HAVE TO FIND CARMELA!

I raced out of the classroom and tried to look for her in the concessionaire. Out of all the surrounding people, I didn't see her.
