"Aww, look at him looking for a place to fit it," Maya said about Lucas.

"You think he'll sit with us?" Riley asked.

Maya slide over so there's a chair between her and Riley. Gabriel didn't say anything as he picked up his fork so he can start eating his lunch.

Farkle sat in the chair between the girls.

"Ladies," he said. "Gabriel."

"Farkle," Maya nad Riley said in unison.

"Hey, Farkle," Gabriel siad, looking up.

"Interesting lunch line dilemma," Farkle said. He looked at Maya, "Sloppy Joe," he than looks at Riley, "or chicken pot pie?" he looked back at Maya. "Or sloppy Joe," he looked back at Riley again, "or chicken pot pie?"

"Is that all you got?" Gabriel asked, raising his eyebrows at Farkle.

"That's it! Same time tomorrow!" Farkle said.

Farkle left the table.

"There he is! Invite him to sit down!" Maya said to Riley.

Riley moved over to the empty seat between the two.

"With words?" Riley said.

"You're ready for this," Maya said.

"What do I say?"

"Riles, I think you're overthinking it," Gabriel said.

"No, I'm not," Riley denied. "What do I say?"

"Hey, Lucas. Looking for somebody special?" Maya suggested.

"I can't say that!" Riley said.

Gabriel sighed as he watched Riley and Maya.

"Hey, Lucas. Looking for somebody?" Maya suggested.

"Too forward," Riley said.

"Hey, Lucas," Maya said.

"Like we're on a first name basis?" Riley said.

"How about you just say hey?" Gabriel said.

"Hey," she repeated.

"Hey back," Lucas said.

He sat down and Riley paused.

"Hi," Riley said. "You're sitting here."

"Is that okay?" Lucas asked.

Riley have Lucas two thumbs up.

"Can you excuse me just for a sec?" she said. She turned around to face both Maya and Gabriel. Both Maya and Riley screamed for a split second.

Cory showed  up and approached their table.

"How ya doing?" Cory asked Lucas.

"Dad, you have a choice here," Riley said. "You can either understand that this is just a boy talking to me in the cafeteria..."

"O'm gonna do whatever you say next," Cory said.

"But this is innocent," she said.

"I don't think dads see this as innocent," Gabriel said.

"Exactly!" Cory agreed.

"How on earth do you know that?" Maya asked Gabriel.

"I have an older sister," Gabriel said. "I've seen my dad do this before."
