break ups

I woke up and saw it was around 8 and I sighed knowing it's going to be difficult to sleep tonight now due to the nap lasting longer than it should've been. I looked at my hand just looking at the ring and thinking the whole thing over. I mean maybe mom's right I wouldn't have ever kissed him if I didn't feel anything and I would've put more of an effort to stopping him then just saying stop. The more I think the more I know she was right and I know I do like Cole. However it doesn't help the situation I have now but Richie doesn't deserve to be led on and in this mess any longer I can't hurt him anymore than I already have. I got up and freshener up then headed over to his house.
Richie- Lauren you're here
La- is this a bad time
Richie- well I um it's just you see
Mikayla- ddaddd
He looked down and sighed. I knew of his daughter I just never met her or anything cause well he didn't want us to meet each other and risk getting close just in case things don't work out.
Richie- I'm going to go check on her but can you stay out here and I'll be right back
La- sure
He closed the door slightly and I sat down on the steps and just waited.
Richie- sorry about that
La- it's ok and plus I did come over here unexpectedly so I'm sorry about that
Richie- I thought you were still away with him
La- no we got back this morning and then I went and had lunch with my mom then went and took a nap.
Richie- so you're going back there after this
La- no I'm going to my house
Richie- I thought you had to live with him
La- I do but I'm spending the night at my house
Richie- oookk
La- complicated I know
Richie- a little too complicated don't you think
La- what do you mean
Richie- Lauren you still have months to go with living with him and who knows what could happen especially after you met his family and I have my daughter to worry about so I think it would just be for the best to stay friends
La- you're breaking up with me
Richie- I'm sorry I really am
La- it's fine it really is and honestly I kinda came here to do the same cause it's not fair to keep you in this messed up situation
Richie- oh well I'm glad we were on the same page
It was a little awkward sitting there since it was just silent.
Richie- I need to know this though I promise I won't be mad but I gotta know
La- Richie please don't ask
Richie- I need to please tell me the truth. Do you like him
La- yes I do and we kissed the other night and I feel horrible and I can't hurt you anymore that's why I came here
Richie- thank you for telling me the truth and I promise im not mad and were still going to be friends don't worry but can I get a kiss before you leave
La- of course
I leaned over and we kissed for a few minutes and then hugged and I left. Now to just deal with Cole tomorrow but that should be easy right.
