She winced as the steaming water
Cascading down her back
Shoulder clenching
Feeling numb from a hard day work of faking a pretty smile
I mean that's what everyone
Wanted right
As it went down her bones
Ripping her all the way down
As it ran, laughing at her pain
Showing her a smile is okay
It Exposed the ugliness of the day
But she say it blemishes
And just begged it to die swiftly
As it fell down the metal drain
Along the dirt of the day
Grainy but in all fairness
That is life
When the faucet finally got turned off
She wrapped her towel around
He bones of body
Small from the words she had spoke into her already weeping mind
Staring Into the fogginess of the mirror
Watching the hollow eyes
Red from tears she that sprung from the shower
Knowing that if the shower can mourn so can she
