And never knowing when you even started to slip
Hurting each second she bumped into them Fracturing herself all the way down
With each step it broke her more
Leaving bruises inked on her,
Already perfectly scarred back
Jagged lines where he had R I P P E D of her wings
Never caring that he was murdering an angel
As he pushed her from her
Heavenly light
Knowing she would gladly fall
Smiling as she realized she couldn't

He just glanced at her bleeding form
Saying it was better this way
Pulling the string that held her to him
And cutting it as she cried
Staring at the broken e n d s
And wishing for them to j u s t s p e a k to tell her the mistakes she had made
That buried her in this horrible place
Anxious for just a laugh
Gurgling from his beautiful through
A simple hello would suffice
But all she heard was silence
Waiting for call that never came
Just like the love never went away
She hoped she would just need one more night
To stare at the place he
Had dropped her from
The heavens calling her name
As they saw the tears leaking down her face
Washing the memories from her face
Messy tendrils just like her throat
As she tried to shake the craziness from its strands
The devil had made brought the madness from his home
Letting it wander into her mind
Because her soul was unlocked
Still her left her Wondering where her heart had R A N off too
She guessed it was just chasing after him, looking only for the feathers
He had lopped off from her spine
Her love darted along beside him
Still he never glanced at
Rejecting the beauty that followed it
Saying that he had let her fall
Because he knew he couldn't
C A T C H her
But she R E A C H E D for him
Sending him the most devilish of grins
Hiding herself so they would
Behave the same
But he had already let go
And even the stars which had
Watched her love the evilest of them
S T O P and S T A R E
Begging her to shine just like them
And call them home
