He stared into her eyes longing
"Such innocence," he thought
But his gaze did not search

To see the colors residing within those pupils
"Oh, but he does not know"
She cried inwardly
For her thoughts of him were not of purity
But reeking of contained love
And she could not stop her eyes
From traveling the lengths of his soul
His eyes were like the ocean
She longed to wade in
Still she sealed her mouth firmly shut
Resisting the thoughts that came racing in
Thoughts of lust and rushing in
So she let him believe in her innocence
Letting him be surprised
By wicked words and lonely nights
And some nights she walked the sands
Of his darkening mind
And other times in daylight
she

Never being found again
But the stars remembered
