why would i look at him differently just because
i found out his past mistake? that's ludicrous,
she thought, after entering her last reply.

Her: What?! No! You know what? I believe you. This is weird. But yes, I do. You may be a bad person before but it doesn’t matter now. You’ve changed and that’s all that matters. You’re not your past. You may be the bad Vince but you’d always be the cheesy Luke to me. I understand.

god, that was a long one from me.
5 minutes.
*narrows her eyes suspiciously while staring at the screen intently*
6 minutes.
is he typing a novel?
10 minutes.
but i don't see the "LukeWebster is typing".
15 minutes.
why isn't he replying? he saw the message..
30 minutes.
did he think i was being too cheesy? did he think i'm weird? did i annoy him?
1 hour.
did i say something wrong..?
1 hour and 30 minutes.
he's not going to reply. he hates me.

she was about to log off with a disappointed aura
when she saw "LukeWebster is typing".
something overwhelming surged inside her.
after a second, a new message popped up.

Him: Well, thank you for being so understanding. Never thought you would.
Really, I'm quite surprised. People sometimes tend to be so judgemental.
But not you. So I think I should be grateful for that.


"oh." she breathed.

she was kind of disappointed, in a way she could not decipher.
and that made her quite sad. and mad at no one.

but just like that,
the prolonged agony she felt while waiting for 1 and a half hour
vanished in just a matter of seconds.
