41. Enemy

Chapter Fourty One

"Why are you still awake Uncle Ben?"

He smiled at me then stretched his arms.

"Come here sweetie."

I sipped on my milk before i walk towards him. He instructed me to sit on his lap so I did. He then pointed out a picture that is showing to his laptop.

There's a two picture visible. The first one is a family picture consists of a father, mother and two kids. The next picture looks like a stolen shot. The man is still there but he's with a different woman. They look like arguing about something. The woman is with a boy though, probably her son.

My brow furrowed in confusion. I look at my unlce to find some answers and as if on cue he laughs mockingly.

"Everyone thinks that the father of that man is the one who has a mistress, later did they know that the old man is just protecting his son." My uncle said pointing to the picture.

"I don't understand uncle."

"Let's just say you are lucky enough to have a great father." He chuckled then point out to the boy at the family picture. "Unlike him Stephanie, he will face a lot of heartache in the future." 

"Why?"

"Because his father is the bad guy but he thinks that his grandfather is the evil one." Uncle kissed my forehead then smirk.

"And tomorrow sweetie is a big day, because I will make him suffer for stealing my lady"

Taeyeon's POV

Nanlamig ang buong katawan ko. Galit ang nanuot sa buong pagkatao ko as I look at the man infront of me.

Suddenly, waves of memories flashed through my mind.

How he ruined my sister's life.
How he tried to tear us apart.
Kung paanong walang awang pinagpiyestahan ng media ang buhay namin dahil sa kagagawan niya.

He grinned.

"Kim Taeyeon"

I gritted my teeth. How dare him call me by name?

Naikuyom ko ang aking palad sa sobrang galit. Pano niya nagagawamg harapin ako na parang wala lang ang lahat sa kanya?

How did he even managed to smile at me knowing what he did?!

I closed my eyes and inhaled sharply. This can't be good.

"What a coincidence." Narinig kong sambit niya ng may halong panunuya.

Coincidence? Just a fucking coincidence?

I opened my eyes and stared at him angrily.

"You know him Uncle?" Takang tanong ni Tiffany.

Napasinghap ako. Hindi ko lubos maisip. Paanong ang lalaking ito ay kadugo ng babaeng mahal ko?

I tried to look at everyone else. They were looking at us puzzled. Para bang pati sila ay naguguluhan sa mga nanagyayari.

"Of course Tiffany! More than anyone else." Humalakhak siya.

Tinitigan ko siya. Kung nakakamatay lang ang tingin marahil kanina pa siya pinaglalamayan.

"Tiff, We need to talk." I said sternly. Pilit pinapakalma ang sarili.

Napatingin sa akin si Tiffany ng may pagtataka.
