Its been a month since Lena and Kara made it official that they are dating and Christmas Eve is today. Kara invited Lena to go back to Midvale with her because as Kara said "Eliza has been dying to meet you". Lena was freaking out over the fact that she is about to meet the woman who raised Kara, and of course she was scared what she might think because she is a Luthor.
"Babe, you need to get ready!!" Kara yelled at Lena from the bedroom
"Coming" Lena yelled back setting down her glass of wine, like Alex, Lena likes to calm her nerves by drinking, but she only limited herself to one glass as of right now because what could be worse than meeting your girlfriends mom than while you're drunk.
"Love, don't you think I should dress in something more stylish than this sweater that matches with yours?" Lena said looking at her self up and down on the body mirror. Though Kara hasn't completely moved in with Lena, she has half of her closet there.
"Lena, you look fine and beautiful like always, if my mom wasn't straight she'd definantly date you" The blonde said trying to reassure her girlfriend followed by a chaste kiss.
Kara wrapped her hand around Lena's hips and twirling her around so they were facing one another. Kara leaned in and trapped her lips with Lena's. Hands roaming all over the place before Lena pulled away saying "We need to stop now or else we're not leaving this apartment tonight" with a mischievous grin Kara supersped onto the balcony grabbing Lena bridal style before telling her to hold on tight and a quick peck on the lips as they blasted off into the sky Kara heard Lena squeal and bury herself into Kara's neck and within minutes they were at Kara and Alex's childhood home walking up to the door before knocking Kara took Lena's and and intertwining their fingers with one another.
Kara stepped up to the door and knocked 3 times, a few moments later they were greeted by Eliza.
"ELIZA!!!" Kara squealed at the sight of her adoptive mother
"Kara!!" Eliza said eloping her adoptive daughter in a bear hug, Kara for a brief second let go of Lena's hand before going back to her
"Eliza, this is my beautiful girlfriend, Lena Luthor" Kara said introducing Lena
Lena put her hand out to Eliza saying "It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs.Danvers"
Eliza stared at her outstretched hand not taking it which made Lena nervous- well even more than she was- before taking it and pulling Lena into a hug
"Oh, such a sweet girl, please call me Eliza" The older blonde said ushering them into the kitchen
"Is Alex and Maggie here yet?" Kara asks as they walking into the kitchen
"Right here sis" Alex says who was sitting on the couch with her arm draped over Maggie
Alex and Maggie get up to greet Kara and Lena eloping them both into hugs as Eliza makes her way back to the kitchen to continuing cooking for the 6 guests and the very hungry Kryptonian
"Mrs.Danvers, is there anything I can do to help?" Lena said walking towards the kitchen
"Lena Dear, I told you to call me Eliza, and sure, you can help me cut up vegetables and meat" Eliza said handing Lena a glass with wine
"Vegetables?" Lena questions, "Does Kara actually eat vegetables?"
The question causes everyone to laugh and Kara to blush as red as the wine Lena is drinking
Alex, Maggie, and Kara spend time in the living room talking while Eliza and Lena in the kitchen talking. A knock on the door interrupts them, Kara used her supervision to see who it is
