Straight away I thought something was up. So I changed Bridget, then put her in some clothes to go out side in. I took her down stairs and out into the yard. I was coming around the corner of the house when I heard.

"You know better to have done what you did, you let her believe."

"I can't say much but no I didn't she was all in for it when I met her. You saw the way she was."

I walked back the around the corner as if I heard nothing. They were about 7 metres from the corner.

"Morning."

"Maw-nan" said Bridget.

I looked down at her as she looked at her dad.

"Morning sweat heart, how are you?"

He said as he lent in and picked her up Jacob quickly lent over and touched my arm. At that point his farther turned around.

"Father, was just telling me about tonight's plan. Father?"

He relaxed his face.

"Yes, me ma, and Bridget are going away for a few days to the market and we were planing on leaving you two behind. Just to keep the farm clean and in good nick. Is that fine with you Annabelle?"

"Of coarse I love this place, it will make me happy to stay and show you guys that I can work." I smiled when I realised he just started to walk off.

"Hey dad! I'm going to show Annabelle around."

His father saluted him and kept walking inside with Bridget.

We walked down to the creek and jumped over. To find us laying on a large rock a bit further down.

"Did you here my father I have to keep you clean and in good nick." He exclaimed as he winked at me. I laughed a bit then stopped.

"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?"

I sat up on the rock.

"I'm sorry, but what did your father mean by "you know better to have done what you did, you let her believe?"

He looked at me.

"You heard? Well he's talking about my ex girlfriend, he saw her this morning and she was all like "Your son is who I want if you don't give him back to me I will run away."

I looked at him then lent over and pecked at his gorgeous lips.

"Ok."

He stood up and grabbed my hands and took me further away from the river and pulled out a small note from his pocket. He started to open the note. When something happened.
