Troy's P.O.V ... I Promise

Troy’s P.O.V

“I just made some spaghetti.”  I said as I headed to the stove.

“Oh, you can cook.” she teased me. I grinned before replying.

“Of course. Who do you think cooks for Timmy?” I asked, Maddy fell silent.

A few minutes later we were sitting in the back room of the house, which was the dining room/ living room /game room.

“What’s today?” Maddy asked me as I placed a plate of hot food in front of her.

“Friday.” I told her. She nodded and dug into her food. We didn’t talk as we ate and I was okay with that. I kept wondering though what was going on in her mind. I bet she hates me for bringing her here, but I just need to talk and explain things to her.

Soon we finished and I picked up the dishes from the table. Maddy stood up and nervously glanced at the back door. I raised an eyebrow at her, as I pondered on what she was about to do. Maddy made no move to dash for the door, so I walked into the kitchen to put the dishes in the sink.

“Well, Troy, thank you for the food!” She shouted

“No problem, Butterfly.” He replied back to her. A smile formed my lips, because I knew she was going to try and make a getaway out of the back door.  

“I guess I will see you later!” She cried out. I walked back into the room, I saw her take off towards the back door. She reached it and tried opening the door. “Gaaa!!!!” She screamed when she found it was locked. I chuckled at her failed attempt.

“Oh, Butterfly, don’t stress over the door, it’s locked.” I informed her from the doorway of the room. Maddy turned around slowly, looking at me with narrowed eyes.

“No shit Sherlock!!!” She shouted. “AND QUIT CALLING ME BUTTERFLY!” I smiled widely at her, for she looked so cute when she was angry, with her face all red and her green eyes glaring at me. I analyzed her and was shocked to see within seconds her expression loosened into a confused facial expression. Her eyes dropped and then flickered to the couch. Maddy slowly walked over and sat down on it. Not even a second later she was crying. I stood there watching hot tears fell from her eyes. I walked over to her and sat down next to Maddy.

“Maddy, please stop crying. I’m sorry. I just want to talk it out with you,” I said. She shook her head.

“It … It’s not that.” She stuttered.

“What is it, Butterfly?” I asked Maddy. She sobbed some more. I embraced her in a hug not knowing what else to do to comfort her and get her to stop crying.

“Why?” She quizzed through her tears.  

“Why, what?”

Maddy pushed me away before she spoke. “W-Why are you w-ant-ting to be with me so much? All growing up you have hated me! N-now-w you act like you don’t want to leave my side. I keep trying to push you away, because I am so afraid that one day you will wake up and … and start calling me names again.” She stated in a muffled voice. It then hit me as to why Maddy was always pushing me away. Growing up I did give her a hard time. I remember calling her names, and sometimes she would even run away crying. It hurt me that over the years I have been nothing but an ass to her.

“Maddy, I am so sorry. I know it doesn’t make a damn difference now, but I do hope one day you will and can forgive me.” Maddy wiped her tears away.

“I want to forgive you … I really want to stop pushing you away … But I have to have you promise that you will never ever, ever! Hurt me … I can’t deal with it, because I know that if when I love someone, it's with my whole heart …” She told me. I knew then and there that this was the start of something great.  I leaned over and kissed her.

“I will never hurt you again.”

“So, how about that talk?” I asked her.

Okay a few things to get out of the way:

1.) Don't worry fans of the other charters, they will be coming back. As a matter of fact next chapter you can find out what has happened to *Smiles Evilly*

2.) If you haven't listened to Troy and Maddy's song, look on the side and know that it is so them!

3.) I will not be able to update in about a week or two because I am going in for surgery on Wednesday (May 30, 2012). And they say I will be staying there for about a few days to a week. Don't worry, there is nothing seriously wrong. I will be fine.
