Chapter 10

I was dumbfounded and confused. " Ummm what?"

" I want you to move in with me. Of course you would be in your own room. "

" Well I am pretty sure I am still supposed to be in confinement. "

" Veronica, you saved Xavier's life. I think that makes us clear and gets you out of trouble. "

" I don't know Luke. " I said in an uncertain tone.

" It's just moving in with me Veronica, I am not asking to mate with you. "

I looked around the room and saw that Kale, Linda, and Xavier were watching us.

" Luke, I just don't know. My sister needs me at home and so does my mother. Plus we really don't even know each other very well. "

" Now you are just making up excuses. It is your duty to move in with me. You know what? Now it isn't a choice, you will be moving in with me. Let's go. "

" No, I'm not moving in with you. "

" You will do as you are told. Now get your butt over here so we can leave. "

" So I'm not even getting a choice? "

" No. " I was getting upset and he wasn't helping at all.

" Screw you Luke, screw you. " I had started crying.

" Do NOT disrespect me. "

" Take your respect and shove it up your a*s. "

" Veronica, I am going to turn around and you are going to follow me. You are in enough trouble as it is so I suggest you listen to me. "

He started walking and I shakily followed. Xavier came running up behind me and hugged my legs.  " Ronnie don't cry. "

Kale demanded,  " Let go Kale. She needs to leave. "

Xavier said with an attitude,  " Shut up Kale, you think that you see in charge of me and you aren't. Your will never be my dad. I can hug Ronnie if I want to. She cares about me unlike you. Where were you when we were attacked? Huh? "

SMACK!  I turned to see Xavier on the floor holding his cheek, tears running down his face. " Learn your place. " Kale said and stormed off.

I crouched down to hug Xavier but he stood up and ran out of the door. I was going to chase him but Luke came in and roughly grabbed my arm, pulling me behind him. He pulled me to a nice, huge, mansion.

I was drug through the house into a room where I was roughly thrown to the floor.  Luke's eyes had changed color and I could tell his wolf had taken over.

" You are about to be punished. "

He started walking towards me and I backed away in fear. He growled and grabbed me. He forced me to my feet and pushed me against the wall. He had my stomach against the wall, with my back to him, my arms were pinned above my head.

His wolf was still in control when he asked,  " Now my little mate, what should your punishment be? "

I was scared and felt vulnerable, knowing I could do nothing to stop whatever he decided to do. He smacked my a*s which hurt.  I cried out and he said,  " I expect you to answer me. "

I replied shakily,  " I don't know. "

SMACK!

There he went smacking my butt again. " Not a good enough answer. "
