CHAPTER TWELVE

HILLERY'S POV

After my class I went home, I mean umuwi ako sa condo then I received a text from Klein.

From: Monggi

Hey patenten. See you later. 6:00pm I'll fetch you in the lobby. ;)

I didn't even bother to reply. Is he really sure about this date? Fuck you for this Klein!

I let myself rest first. I took a nap for almost an hour and a half then I started to prepare myself. Wala naman sigurong mawawala right? This would just be a friendly date.

This it! It's already 6pm. He texted me. As what he said he would fetch me 6pm at the lobby. I was about to go near him when I realized how hot he was with his button down polo and ragged jeans. Simple yet sexy! I bit my lip.

Did I just said he's sexy? well I just have to deal with it. That's the truth! Hindi niya ko napansin nung una dahil may kausap siyang babae na tumatawa tawa pa. Other girls are sneaking on him. I can see Klein's player side from here. Such a good flirt.

"Hi Viv! Ready for the night?" he said a soon as he see me and come near me.

"Hey there twat. So you're really serious with this oh-so-called date huh?"

"I asked you. Why would I lie? I won't make fun of you." he said. "Shall we go now, babe?" he added and lead the way to his car.

He opened the passenger's door. Oh, may pagkagentleman din naman pala tong si Monggi. Nice!

"Thanks. Btw, where are we going monggi ?"

"Usual date babe, mall." he answered and didn't even bother to look at me, he was looking straight at the road.

"I told you, don't call me names. I prefer Hillery alone"

He left no words but he just giggled for an answer.

We arrive at the mall. And guess where we are? The mall where we first met. As soon as we enter all eyes on us. Idk why. Ngayon lang ba sila nakakita ng gwapo at maganda? Ooops GGSS alert! he he he.

"Remember this mall? Dito ko naranasan masampal for the first time." natatawang sabi niya at hinawakan ang pisngi.

"Yeah, I remember this mall. Dito ko naranasan manakawan ng first kiss, and guess what? Sa taong di ko pa kilala. And now kasama ko siya. Ironic isn't it?" natatawang sabi ko pero napansin kong nawala yung ngiti niya after I said those words.

"Seryoso Hill? I-- I was your first kiss?" he looked furious.

"Yeah. It was my first damn kiss stolen by you Monggi. That's why I called you Monggi. You're unbelievable. You're out of your mind." I said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. You're too pretty, your boyfriend couldn't resist that beautiful lips." i blushed he really knows how to flirt.

"I don't have a boyfriend you freak! Papayag pa ko makipagdate kung meron? I forgot, di pala ko pumayag, you blackmailed me." he laugh.

"You really amaze me with your bratinella attitude Viv." he said. "What movie you wanna watch?" Andito na pala kami sa Movie hall. Di ko napansin kakadaldal.

So I check the movies, "The notebook!" I said. Hindi ako tulad ng mga pacute na babae na sasagot ng kahit ano. I have my own choice why bother to say those words?

"Sure babe. Wait for me here" then nagbayad na siya for the tickets at bumili ng snacks.

We enter the cinema, usual stuff. Movie-popcorn-ending. The movie was great tho medyo awkward dahil sa greeny scene. It was awkward for me yet ngiting ngiti si Monggi, this twat! Pervert alert.

"Enjoyed the movie?" he asked.

"Yea, t'was good. I'm hungry! Let's eat." i said. He look amused with my answer then he smiled. "Woah, what's with the smile mister? I'm hungry! Let's go now." I added.

"Wala wala! Kakaiba ka talaga! Haha. Now choose where you want to eat. My treat." he said pero halata paring amused sakin. Malamang libre niya dapat! Siya nag-aya makipagdate eh. hahaha

We walk and stroll the mall for almost 10 minutes to find a good resto. Dinadala ko siya sa mamahaling resto mukha siyang tanga na parang gulat na gulat pero at the end sasabihin ko ayoko don di masarap. Di niya alam pinagttripan ko lang siya. I told you I'm not a fan of fancy restos.

"Gotcha! Here. I want to eat here!" I said with twinkling eyes.

"Are you serious Hillery? McDo for out date?" para naman masamang kumain sa McDo.

"Why? Gusto ko dito. Sabi mo ako pumili. Hayyy. Ang gulo mo Monggi!" I was about to leave McDo with a sad face.

"Sige na dito na, gusto mo dito eh. Nagulat lang ako. For a sophisticated girl like you kakain dito sa McDo for a date? Kakaiba ka talaga." tsaka siya ngumiti.

I was captivated by his smile. That smexy smile. But then, I realized how many times I praised him today. So, I decided to smiled at him in return.

The dinner went well. It was a great night. Masaya rin palang kasama tong si Monggi. He fetch me so he also accompanied me home.

"Thanks for the night Vivien. I mean Hillery :)" he said while smiling.

"Yeah, thanks too. I enjoyed it!" I was also smiling when I said those words. It was true! I really had fun. Hindi ko inaasahang makakasundo ko siya for a night. 

"Glad you enjoyed it, I also do too! Kahit may pagkabaliw ka din talaga. Kala mo di ko napansin na pinagttripan mo ko sa mga fancy resto kanina"

"Hahahaha. Sorry! You're reaction was just really priceless! So, let's call it a night I guess? Uhmm." I really can't find the right words on how to bid him goodbye. "Goodnight? Thank you :)" i said.

"No, I should be the one to thank you. Thank you for coming with me. Goodnight Hillery." then he kissed me on the forehead.

I was shocked with his sweet gesture. Did he really do that?

"Bye Hillery, next time ulit." sabi niya ulit pero nasa loob na siya ng sasakyan binaba lang niya yung bintana. Bilis ha? haha.

I just smiled for an answer, still in shock. Then he left. And here I am still smiling while walking papasok sa building ng condo. Gahd Klein. What did you do to me?

"Vivien"

Is someone calling my name? Shunga, ikaw lang ba Vivien sa mundo? Hillery pangalan mo second name mo lang yan. Baka di ikaw yan. Kaya naglakad nalang ulit ako.

"Vivien, wait!"

Sino ba yang tawag ng tawag. Inikot ko yung paningin ko. Wala naman.

"Hillery Vivien Pristilla! Sandali sabi!"

It was a voice coming from a guy. Umalis na si Klein. I saw it with my two eyes. Hindi siya to. Pero baka naman bumalik? I tried my best to relax and continue walking.

"Vien." I stop walking when he said that name.

I'm hearing he's footsteps coming closer and closer.

"Vien. Can we talk?" he's holding my arms now. Hindi si Monggi to that's for sure. Kasi isang tao lang tumatawag sakin ng Vien.

Humarap ako sa lalaking tumatawag sakin. He's too close. Tinignan ko siya eyes to eyes. But he can't even look straight into my eyes. Funny!

So he's really here, he already went home. Welcome back!
