Lory's POV
"Are you sure?"he asked for clarification since I am definitely acting weird right now.
"Oh yah!y-yes,I mean,No!nothing."I said still stuttering and breathing heavily and to stop this awkward situation I decided to hand him his glass of water."Here's your water."I said smiling with embarrassment.
"Oh!thank you."then he drink the water in front of me that makes me stared again from his lips until to his bobbing Adam's apple.
"Uhmm,let's go watch some movies."then I started walking away from him and heard his stumping feet following my direction.
"What movie do you wanna watch?"he asked.
"Uhmm..."I paused and tried to think of something that is new and when I didn't come up to anything I decided to tell him."anything,just a random movie."I told him casually before I requested one more thing."Do you have any popcorn or something?"
"Yah,on the cabinet."at hindi ko na nga siya sinagot at pumunta na sa kusina.
Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko to ginagawa,pwede namang umuwi na ako para matapos na tong nakakahiyang sitwasyon na toh,pero mali ang lumabas sa bibig ko!Ang tanga-tanga ko talaga kahit kailan palagi na lang palpak!pakiramdam ko sasabog na din na parang popcorn yung utak ko dahil sa sobrang inis at lito.
Nung nakita ko na ang popcorn ay agad ko na tong binuksan at ginawa,nag-antay ako ng ilang minuto nung narinig kong sumigaw si August galing sa livingroom.
"Are you almost done there?!the movie is about to start!"kaya agad ko ng binilisan ang pag-gawa ko at agad trinasfer yung popcorn sa malaking bowl kasama yung cheese powder nito.
"You can play it now."I said excitedly before I hop on the couch beside him.
While we both watching movie,the entire room is now filled with silence and only the t.v. Is making the sound. I feel like I can hear everything that is going on around me,I can here the sound of the T.V. Obviously,also the sound of the popcorn being crashed inside our mouth and also hearing the odd beating of my heart inside my chest.
I was about to get some popcorn when all of the sudden some of it slip out of my hand.
"Opps!"I said in surprise.Which he also startled and instantly helped me to pick up the pieces of popcorn on his couch."I'm really really sorry,it's my bad."I was midway reaching some of the popcorn that fell on the floor when we both accidentally bump our heads to one another.
"Ouch!"Sabi ko dahil sa sakit sabay hinawakan ang loo ko.
"Aw."sabi din niya sa sarili niya.
Habang hinimas-himas ko yung ulo ko para walain ang sakit ay hindi ko inaasahan na biglang siyang tatayo para lumapit sakin sabay hinipan ang nabukol kong ulo.
"August what are you doing?"I asked in confusion.
"Bakit?nung bata pa tayo naalala ko pa na kapag nauuntog tayo sa kahit ano mang bagay ay agad nating ginagawa ito sa isa't-isa,kaya nawawala agad yung sakit."sabi niya sakin habang patuloy parin niya itong hinihipan.
"Sana ganun nga lang kadali."Sabi ko sakaniya na malungkot"Na pagkatapos ihipan ang lahat ay mawawala na din ang sakit."
Whaaaaaaaaaat!saan yung nang-gagaling Lory?!bakit ka biglang naghugot!?anong nagyayari sayo!?
Pagkatapos ko yung banggitin ay agad ko naman yung pinagsisishan.
When I heard him breath heavily and said."Sana nga ganun lang."
Kaya dahil sa pagkakagulat ko ay agad akong napatingala para tignan ko siya na agad naman din niya ako tinignan pabalik at dun ko napagtanto na ang lapit na palang ng mukha namin sa isa't-isa.
I don't know what hit's me but instead of looking away,I stared back on his eyes like there were starts in the night,I can see through his eyes the pain and his longing for love and before I could even possible back into reality after drowning myself to his expressive eyes,I suddenly felt his lips touches mine which I unexpectedly synchronized my lips on his.
In the this very moment,I don't feel like I'm lost or alone,I don't feel like our memories were forgotten,it all suddenly flashing back into my mind,showing every single detail on how we both met,it feels like a magical kiss that can bring back an abandoned memories from the past into a memorable remembrance.
I was stiffened for a minute when suddenly my conscience hit me back to reality.
"No,this is wrong!"sabay umatras ako sakaniya at hinawakan ang namamasa ko pang labi.
"Why?"nalilito niyang sabi sakin.
"No,no,no,no this can't be happening!"sabay tumayo na ako at inayos ang mga gamit ko.
"Im sorry."sinubukan niya akong hawakan pero agad akong umilag.
"No it's fine,I think I have to go."at nung naging maayos na ang gamit ko ay agad na akong naglakad papunta sa pintuan pero bago pa man ako tuloyang umalis ay lumingon ako ulit sakaniya sabay sabi."By the way....."then I pause while looking at him"Becareful."then I opened the door and went out of his room.
While I am running through the hallways I can't stop myself from touching my lips,I can not believe that I did that,I can't believe that it happens,I feel like I am the one who is cheating between me and Cody.
I was shocked and in the same time confused,it just happened so fast that even my mind can't catch up.
I don't mean to kiss him back but there is something in me that wanted more and wishing that I didn't stop,but It is not right.
Pakiramdam ko kasama ko ang demonyo at anghel ngayon na nag-aaway kung sino ang susundin ko sakanilang dalawa,kaya nung nakapasok na ako sa loob ng elevator ay agad ko ng pindot ang close botton at timing naman na nakita ko si August na tumatakbo papalapit sakin,pero bago pa man siya tuloyang makapasok ay timing naman na sumara ang pinto kaya ang tangi ko na lang nabulong ang sarili ko ay ang pangalan niya.
