Vic's POV

It's Friday today I usually have work but since it's Vik's birthday today I decided to take this day off

My son's 4 years old now and I can't be more happy not to mention my wife is 8 months pregnant now her due date is around the second week of September I can't wait to see my baby GIRL. Yup we're having a girl.

I slowly got up making sure not to wake up my sleeping wife who's hugging me.

When I successfully got up from our bed I went to the bathroom and did all my morning routine before going down in the kitchen where I saw Manang Pileng

Manang Pileng : " Good morning, Vic "

Vic : " good morning po manang"

Manang Pileng : " gusto mo nga kape? "

Vic : " yes please "

Manang Pileng : " hindi ka ba papasok parang hindi ka kasi nag mamadali "

Vic : " hindi po birthday po ni Viktor eh "

Manang Pileng : " oo nga pala noh "

She continue to make us coffee as I prepared everything that I need to cook my son her favorite breakfast which is chocolate chip pancakes.

I was putting the plates down on the table as I just finished cooking breakfast when I heard steps coming from the stairs expecting for it to be Vik I ran towards the end of the stairs but saw my wife.

Vic : " Mika I told you to call me or anyone if you're coming down"

I didn't shout but I made sure that I sounded upset

I rand towards her and help her down

Mika : " love, chill okay? I'm very capable of going down the stairs"

Vic : " I know you are but your stomach is so big right now I don't think you can see your steps and I'm not gonna take on any risk of you falling down the stairs. Do you understand, love?"

Mika : " yes love I understand "

We finally reached the end of the stairs

I kissed her cheek and...

Vic : " hayst love, I'm sorry for scolding at you early in the morning I just want you safe, okay? Good morning by the way I love you "

I gave her lips a quick kiss

Mika : " it's okay, love. I understand I promise I won't be stubborn anymore and I love you too "

I smiled at her as we enter the dinning room where I have prepared our breakfast.

As soon as she saw our breakfast she...

Mika : " Vic! "

Vic : " what? "

Mika : " I told you last night that I wanted to cook breakfast for us specially Vik you should have woken me up "

Vic : " I'm sorry but you just looked like you were enjoying your sleep "

Mika : " I- "

She didn't get to continue what she was about to say when we heard

Vik : " are you fighting? "

We looked at where it was coming from it's Vik just by the end of the stairs clearly he just woken up his hand on his eyes scratching them

We walked towards him I got on my knees so that I was almost the same height as he is
