The Fiance

Chapter Four

After Nik silently slipped out last night, I went into my room and cried. He insisted that he would stay with me, but I shouldn't lead him on when I'm about to get married to another man. I didn't want to catch more feelings too, so he had to go.

So, why did I feel so incomplete when he left?

I was doing this for my parents. I didn't want to be a disapointment to them. But, I just wish that they would consider my feelings in the things they do also.

I rubbed my eyes and groaned as my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" I answered sleepily.

"Hello, Nieva," a deep voice said.

"Who's this?"

"Jason Lev," he answered.

What the?

"Do I know you?"

"You're going to tonight. I just wanted to check up on you," he said.

"What are you, my mother?"

"Do I sound like your mom?"

"Yes, except the fact that your voice is belongs to a man," I said.

"I'll see you tonight," he said before he hung up.

I yelled frustratedly and went to take a shower.

After ten minutes, I got out, wrapped towel around my hair, and put on a robe. Then I started searching for some clothes.

"Who does he think he is to boss me around? My husband?"

"Actually, fiance," someone said from behind me.

I froze and turned around.

"Why are you in my house?" I ask the incredibily sexy man in front of me.

He has piercing green eyes and short brown hair. With that slight stubble, he looks like a god!

"What? I can't come in my fiance's house?"

"Get out!" I yelled.

"No," he smirked.

"For your information, I never agreed to be your fiance," I said.

"I know," he said.

"Then get out!" I yelled.

"Whatever you say," he smirked.

"Get out of my house," I said.

"That, I will not listen to," he said before walking out.

"My mom wants me to be with a guy like him?" I scoffed.

"Heard that!"

"Good!" I yelled back.

I shook my head and grabbed a pair of shorts and an off-shoulder t-shirt. I quickly put it on and applied light make up before I walked out.

"And you, my love. You are the definition of beautiful," he said once he spotted me.

"I told you to get out. Why are you still here?" I crossed my arms.

"What's wrong with me being here?"

"I'm not even supposed to meet you until tonight!"

"Well, it's better early than late," he smirked.

I rolled my eyes and the doorbell rang. I went to open it and smiled at the sight in front of me.

"Hey," I greeted.
