Nettie smiled as the necklace she put on clicked behind her neck. She looked at herself in the mirror with a smile, excited for her fancy date. She walked to the room Tea was changing in, and was confused to hear music playing.
She heard Tea softly singing,
"...and to South Africa
So many places that you might say I've seen it all!
But my favorite place is the warm embrace...
Of holding your hair back in a bathroom stall."
Nettie peeked through the door to see Tea dancing freely to the music, banging her head while her dress floated around her waist.
"Everything I do is bittersweet.
You could tell me secrets that I'll probably repeat.
I'm not trying to hurt you, I just love to speak!
It feels like we're pulling teeth...
So bittersweet..."
Nettie clapped and cheered while walking through the door, frightening Tea as she fell back in surprise. "SHI- NETTIE! HI!"
Nettie giggled. "You were amazing." She said to her blushing girlfriend.
"Uhh, thanks."
