THE DEAL

It was already 7 in the evening when they reached the function hall of Traveler's Hotel. Tonight is Mr. Ecleo's 80th birthday. He arrived at exactly 7:50. He saw different people, stakeholders, clients and even employees around. He looked around and saw Dawn, Vice, Celine and Richard sitting in one of the tables. He walked up to them and hugged them.

"Oh, buti hindi ka late?" Dawn asked him.

"Nagbago na ako, Dawn." he answered and proudly smiled at them.

"Iba ang nagagawa ng dalawang taon, 'no?" stated Vice and drank his pinepapple juice.

"Iba talaga." he simply replied.

"Hinahanap ka ni Mr. Ecleo kanina."

"Sige, I'll find him." he says before walking to find Mr. Ecleo.

He was about to walk up to the place of Mr. Ecleo when an arm caught him.

"Bea?" he asked unbelievably.

She was wearing a navy blue body-hugging dress paired with cream chunky heels. She had her blonde shoulder-length hair curled.

"Yes, it's me." she answered and laughed.

"Akala ko ba hindi ka pupunta?" he asked and kissed her cheek.

"Surprise, surprise!" she tells him. "Kumusta?"

"Ito. Still the same chubby Aga everyone knows. Ikaw? It's been two years!" he exclaimed.

They haven't seen each other for two years. Bea decided to go back to New York to find her inner peace and to repent for what she has done. Regrets, they can't do anything, she thinks. They talk via messenger.

She showed him her left hand revealing a ring. "Damn!" Aga exclaimed and smiled at her. "Naunahan mo pa akong magpapakasal?"

"Hindi mo kasi siya hinabol." she answered. "Wala namang masama kung hinabol mo siya."

"I had to rest. We had to rest, Bea."

"Ang dami mong arte, friend." she tells him.

"Anong balita sa kanya?" he asked.

Bea shook her head, "Last na nag-usap kami, last week pa. She's doing fine. And... She got sexier. I'm telling you."

Two years had passed. Two years since Lea left the country. Two years since she blocked him on every social media account. Two years. And he's still inlove with her.

"Malunod ka diyan kakaisip mo." Bea teased her. "Sige, I got to see my fiancè. See you around."

He's happy for Bea. That she has finally found the right man for her.

The celebration started at 8:15. Blowing of candle, birthday wishes, presentations and everything. He got another drink that night and sat beside Richard.

"Is this celebration not done yet?" asked Richard.

"Hindi pa. Someone's going to have a surprise performance raw. We don't know who." Dawn answered.

"Inaantok na ako." Aga retorted and yawned.

As if on cue, the lights went off, and a spotlight was placed at the center. An arranged remix salsa version of Versace On The Floor played.

All eyes were focused at the center, curioused of who would perform.

There was a sudden 'Woah' when they saw the girl wearing a very sexy red dress. (See the multimedia) and stiletto.

"Tang ina. Am I dreaming?!" Aga exclaimed patted Richard's shoulder.
"Ladies and gentlemen, our very own Ms. Lea Salonga, the CEO of Orion Company!"
