Short chapter ahead!
Somebody wakes me up.
"Riley! Riley, wake up!"
I jump up to see my mom's face.
"Mom!" I exclaim. I stifle a yawn. Then I suddenly see the background. We're on the street.
I feel the bench under my legs. Where's my bed? This is so not my room.
"Riley!" she says, "its you! I'm so happy you're safe!"
Then she wraps me in a tight hug.
"Wait what's happening?" I say sleepily.
Then I remember what happened, where I am. Then I start to wonder.
"Wait, this isn't a dream, right?"
She stares at me.
"How did you find me?" I ask her.
"You posted your location and you sent it to me" she says.
"But I didn't!"
"Then how am I standing here?"
I pause a moment, then Topanga sighs.
"Show me your phone"
I reach into my bag and start to fiddle when I remember Maya.
"Mom!" I suddenly say.
"What?"
"Maya took my phone"
"You saw Maya?"
"Sorta"
I then relate to her about last night's events.
She pauses to think, then says, "So Maya has your phone?"
"Yeah"
"That's alright, at least we know she's safe"
I smile. Then Topanga's face turns serious, as if she's about to give me a looooooong lecture.
I stop her before she can even start.
"Mommy, I'm so sorry. I don't like this running away thing. I just did it because I really miss Maya, Mommy. Plus maybe if I found Maya everything would be better with you and Dad. Sorry. Please bring me with you"
I start to cry.
Mom hugs me to comfort me.
She smiles at me.
"Its alright. I know you did t for a good reason. You really are a good friend, I think Maya would really appreciate what you did.
I'm not sure what will happen between me and your father, though I'm sure we'll sort it out. What you did was dangerous, though. At least you're safe. Promise me you'll never do that again."
My mom stares into my eyes.
"I promise" I say.
She smiles and stands up.
"C'mon, lets go home"
I get up, collect my things, and we head on our way home.

Finally I'm active lol
Classes were cancelled!
But sadly that means our exam today will be moved to tomorrow.
Good thing is, MORE TIME TO STUDY!
