Present Day.

"I'm glad you came." He admitted.

I locked my car door, as I walked up to Trey as he held his arms wide open.

He had a big smile plastered across his face. "I missed you." he admitted. And for some part of me, I hesitated, but the other majority just smiled, and not because it brought me joy to hear his words, but because I actually missed him to. For me, it wasn't a come-on or anything, it was the truth. We missed each other. That whole high school Trey and Abby, what we were before all the drama, and this brought us back. He missed me, as much as I missed him.

"Same here." I smiled as his arms wrapped around me. And for some time, Trey and I stood there, just hugging. I didn't feel like I was falling in love with him like before. I was genuinely happy, Trey and I was finally making peace.

Trey pulled back, resting his hands on my shoulders. "I guess some time apart, did some justice." He stated as he stared within my eyes.

I nodded. "I guess so." I laughed, with my eyes bulging a bit.

"Well, like I said, I'm happy you came, so how about it?" He suggested as he nodded towards the outdoor shopping center.

As he awaited my response, he nudged me on by cupping his arm, so I would intertwine mine with his. "You know I'm not the shopping type, but whatever." I laughed, as I grabbed onto his arm.

--

"Trey, this is useless!" I groaned, as he stepped out of the dressing room for the millionth time.

"Come on Abby, I need to find some outfits for the upcoming job interviews." He replied. "Do you like this?" He said, practically ignoring me.

I looked him up and down, as he was dressed in an off-white button up, a barely started blue tie, grey slacks, and black dress shoes. His face began to twist up in frustration as I watched him struggle to roll up the (right-side) sleeve. I laughed. "Trey, let me help you." I giggled as I stood.

He growled. "No, I-I got it, Abby." He replied, as he never took his eyes off the sleeve.

I squeezed up in between him and the mirror he stood in-front of. I must admit, it was a compromising position, so I placed my hand upon his chest, pushing him back a bit. He was too concentrated on the sleeve to even notice. "Trey, I got it."

At this point he looked up startled, realizing that I now stood in-front of him. His head lowered a bit, as he felt disappointed before he looked  at me with appreciation. "Thanks." He spoke, with a small smile forming.

I let out a smile breath. "That's what I'm here for right?" I asked, and he just nodded. I gazed at him, briefly before looking towards his sleeve. "Now, let me show you how this is done." I joked.
