Hatspehut

"Have you lost you mind Empress Hatspehut?! Going into the wolves' camp without Saryia is not a good idea!" Elder Joe pleads for me to stay, but I'm going to do what I have to.

"No Joe, going into their camp with her is not a good idea. They tired to kill her before, and they tried to kill my child. I won't put them at risk again. Besides, in our society I am the one that has status and the right to speak. Saryia would be asking for trouble if she spoke out of term. I go with my brothers and my future elders and that is final." Joe bows his head and backs away as I mount my horse. Saryia who has been standing there with us makes sure my saddle is secure. She tenderly kisses my hand and I blow her a kiss.

"You're sure you don't need me to go with you?" I nod then give her a grin.

"I'll need you tonight baby." I give her a wink and look up at the gate master, "Open the gates!" The large steel doors open slowly. I flick the reigns and my black horse takes off into the morning dew. Odin and Apollo take my sides and the older elder's children line up behind us. We all wear white cloaks over our armor as a sign of peace. I look back to the large stone fort and contact Saryia.

"I'm going to keep the link open so you can hear what's happening." I feel Saryia peck my lips softly.

"Be careful in there." I nod my head and look forward to where the wolf camp is.

"So what's the plan Haty?" Odin asks me.

"Talk with all of them together, then I'm talking to Aria alone."

"Is that such a good idea Hatspehut? She could be dangerous." Nicholas says behind me.

"All she wants to do to me is bed me and take my power. She wouldn't hurt me." I look down at the amulet that clinks against my chest and run my finger over it, "She couldn't if she tried." Apollo smirks as we come closer to the camp. Scouts stop our horses with their bows drawn at us, when they see its me they drop their weapons and fall to their knees.

"For-forgive me my mighty Empress! I did not know you would be coming over!" I make my horse walk over to where the scared wolf is, they really fear me now, I don't want people to be scared of me. All that is needed is respect.

"Just lead us to Aria and the rest of the elders. They are expecting us." He and his party rise to their feet and lead our horses into the heart of the wolves camp. They are busy at work making weapons and armor from the ones they stole and resources they acquired. I and my party dismount, and instantly my brothers take my sides. The solider leads us to a big red tent and i know at once that this is the main tent, a bigger one in the distance tells me that is Aria's tent.

"Hope she enjoys her royal treatment, she is the main one I'll be looking for on the blood moon." My wolf growls. I smirk and rub her head, she begins to stir as we enter. Aria sits in the middle of the large table and the elders sitting on either of her sides. High Elder William stands at her right, but his eyes along with the eyes of the rest of the elders widen when they see Shen, Lrya, Nicholas, and William.

"William?" He stares at his son in disbelief. The younger William stares at his father with no emotion.

"Yes, I'm not dead like you thought father." He says back in an monotone voice. William and the older elders look at their children in shock.

"Listen we are here to talk about your surrender." I say breaking the awkward silence. Aria laughs as she looks at me with lustful eyes.

"Who said anything about surrender honey? There is no chance that we are surrendering to your vampire slut." I immediately lunge for her and I am held back by Odin and Lrya.
