Before I upload my last chapter tomorrow or the next day, I'll just post some quick sketches, photos, and my references to some characters and scenes in this fiction. This chapter will always be updated even if the story had already finished so you could still check this out. (In case you are still interested with my more defined painting of the story.)
I come to have an idea about the story because of the assignment of my niece, in which she asked me to help her out. It was about this Gothic horror fiction writer Edgar Alan Poe. I become interested with the genre thus prompting me to write a story with the same theme.

Gothic Horror fictions have this recurring themes in the plot: Castle or Big Place, Damsel in Distress, and Chase.
Castle: Not literally a castle, it could be any big place or building with secret rooms, confusing hallways, and dark ambiance. Asylum was the first thing that came in my mind. And it's already in my plot draft since I've started this story.

Damsel in Distress: Of course my main character should be in distress and it is the crazy Suzuka. Her craziness and being the narrator of the story could also add to some confusion to the readers. It will doubt you if you should trust what she see or feel. It would leave more questions in your mind. I try to portray her as someone who is fearful so that I could also convey fear to the readers which is what's the main purpose of horror stories, to make the audience afraid. Am I right? Did I make it effective? xD
The Chase: Being chased by Akumu the Demon, being chased by vengeful ghosts, being chased by ogres, need I say more?
Character Sketches:
I will not sketch portrayable characters like Suzuka, Himeka, Yui and Moa, and Sakura Gakuin Members. Rather, I will have some sketches of the interesting fictional characters in the story.
