Harry: Harry was just about to start preparing dinner for when you got home from work when there was a knock on the front door. He quickly put his apron aside and followed the knocks, answering the bell to a nervous-looking Liam. "Hey mate" Harry greeted while Liam just awkwardly smiled and spoke a quiet "Hi." That second Harry knew something was up and immediately invited his friend to come in. The boys went into the kitchen and took their seats opposite from eachother on the kitchen table as Harry asked, "Now what's wrong man?" Liam's eyes were duller and not their usual color as he looked at Harry and spoke up, "You first gotta promise me that you won't be mad and, like punch me or anything." Harry's cocked eyebrows showed his' confusion and that he had no idea what Liam was driving at. "Liam, what is going on?" Liam sighed. "Promise me Harry, please." . "Li-" . "Promise me!" Harry rolled his eyes and puffed. "Fine! I promise." Liam shifted a little and took a deep breath to prepare himself for what he was going to say. "Well, I've been feeling a bit.. desperated lately" he begun, avoiding Harry's gaze. "Ever since we guys.. and the girls went out to the club last weekend I've been really frustrated and angry with myself." Harry nodded, showing that he was hanging on to every word Liam was saying. "What I'm trying to say is... dammit I'm sorry Harry" Liam let out a final breath before getting it off his chest, "I fancy [Y/N]." Harry's face dropped and he didn't say anything, needing some time to come to terms with that confession. "I'm sorry Harry. I- I shouldn't have told you" Liam stammered and pushed himself off the chair, "I just thought you deserve to know." Silence lingered around the room while Harry's eyes just focused on a spot near the fridge. "I better get going" Liam sighed as made his way to the door, just to turn back around when he heard Harry's unusal small voice. "Please don't try anything, Liam. I really like this one."

Niall: "You ready for the beach, Harry?" Niall asked his bandmate as he threw suncream and a towel into his beach bag, zipping it up. Harry, who was sitting on the hotel bed, looked up from his phone and shook his head, mumbling, "I'm not coming" before turning his attention back to the touch screen. "Why not?" Niall asked with furrowed eyebrows, "Weren't you the one who suggest the day at the beach?" Harry sighed. "Well yeah" he removed his hand from his phone to ruffle his curls with it, "But I've got this.. thing to do." Squinching his eyes shut, Harry mentally slapped himself for not coming up with a better reason than that. It's not that he hadn't a reason. Certainly he had one. But he obviously wouldn't tell Niall that the cause of the declination was you, the one he was fancying for weeks and the one he just couldn't stand to look at in a revealing bikini. "Thing?" Niall chuckled and searched his suitcase for his sunglasses while Harry put his phone aside, "C'mon mate. I know you better than that. There is something on your mind and you know you can tell me." Groaning, Harry buried his face in his hands and rose his voice when looking back up, "No I can't Niall! And that's just the problem!" Taken back, Niall winced and stared at his friend but tried to understand his outburst. Harry regretted it already though and let out a loud sigh, apologizing, "I'm sorry, Niall. I didn't mean to. It's just - I- I kind of have a crush on [Y/N] and I swear I'm trying to push it aside! But it's just really really hard for me when I have to see her every day." Flinching, Harry prepared himself for a mad and angry Niall after he confessed his fondness for you. But instead Niall put a comforting hand on Harry's shoulder and smiled. "That's alright. I know you can't control your feelings and I can't blame you. [Y/N] is very fit" Niall chuckled, "I really appreciate it that you try to push it aside. But I think you should face your problems and still come to the beach." Harry was astonished and didn't know how to response, nor if he should go to the beach anyway and just stared at Niall with wide eyes. "It's okay, mate. I trust you."
