Chapter 4 - Returning Home

With in the next few months we have been threw 4 safe havens and now we are just driving along the highway we decide to go back to my hometown Shea Heights and when we drive around there and I see my sister Mackenzie's house she had 3 children and a husband we also drive past my moms house she had a dog cat and a husband named joiner we see that at the school there's a flag filled with neon colours and it read SAFE and there's walls when we get to the wall I ask Wes do he think its safe for Katelyn to have her baby there she is dew in about a week or so and there's a sign that says beep the horn twice and the gate will open and it do when we enter we see children that I know and we seen my cousins my friends and wee see animals and baby's we are greeted by 2 men fully loaded with Ak47's and hunting knifes and he asks our names and I say "I'm Mitchell Power I have a son who's about to turn 2 I have a wife Named Maria Power and I'm with my friends Katelyn Pike shes expecting a child any-day her husband Wes my friend Jacob and his girlfriend Ashley Lindsey and my best friend Madison well there all my best friends but yea... we also have a few survivors from our old camp ones a nurse we lost a few on the way here but other then that that's all is it ok if we join your group?" I'm sitting in silence for about 5 minutes when they tell us that they have 3 survivors with the last name power. I look at them in disbelief I ask them there first names and they tell me they can tell me then they ask me if any of my family members are missing I tell them "there's Mackenzie Power, Dana Power, and Richard Power" one of them nods to the other and the other one goes off and the one that nodded tells me to drive in so I do I park by a table and tent as we set out our other survivors in different campers I'm sorting out my motor home and I hear my name being called in disbelief I freeze is it ? Could it be? I turn around and its my mom shes 62 and I run and hug her we both start to cry and she tells me she wouldn't be here if It wasn't for joiner because she almost got bit but joiner threw himself at the walkers and she drove here I ask about Mackenzie And Richard Mackenzie's 29 And Richard is 24 my mom pulls away and hold my shoulders and she nods behind me and there is my sister and brother I run to them and hug them there crying because they thought I was dead, Mackenzie told me her husband Max was bit and he shout himself as Mackenzie ran with Jade who's 4, Anthony WHO's 6, and Andrew WHO's 9 then they came here Richard was with Mackenzie when shit hit the fan he lost his wife and kid I decide to move my motor home next to them and me Madison Katelyn Jacob Austin wes and Ashley Lindsey we stay together we all sleep in the bunk beds I had in the motor home we couldn't before because the supply's was there we all still carry our guns and we are all safe.... for now
