Justin's POV

Cancer.

We definitely know how scary it is, we read a lot of articles about people passed away of cancer on papers but we never know how much scariness of cancer until people around us started suffering cancer.

We definitely know the pain of getting a cancer but we will never understand the pain.

Every time looking into Elaine's eyes, I felt fear and heartbreak. A pair of her shiny blue eyes and a huge smile on her all the time, she's so beautiful and so strong. She's such a beautiful little creature.

I wanted to help her so bad but I couldn't. She has to stay strong to defeat the devil by herself. She's such an innocent girl who doesn't deserves this.

I am just an outsider, but had already been so torturing for her. I nearly broke down every time looking in her eyes.

What about Elaine herself? Imagine how much had this girl gone through at such a young age.

She may not know anything about her disease but she must be suffering inside. She doesn't cry physically but I bet her heart must be bleeding of tears lately.

It's so unfair, she doesn't deserve to live under lies. We can hide the truth from her for a moment but not forever, the lies will still be exposed one day. She still has to find out the truth one day, her disease and the truth of her parents, she has her right to deal with her life.

She can't stay under the lies and Albert's arrangement for the rest of her life.

Arrangement is such a scary word in everyone's life. No one deserves to live a life that was fully arranged by others, we want to live in the lives that we want because we have the right to deal with it, just like me and Elaine.

"Hey, Elaine, how you doing?", I walked into her ward in a huge smile and tried to chill her.

Once she elevated her head, she widened her eyes in surprise and burst into laughter, she laughed so bad and questioned me curiously "Uncle Bieber, where's your hair?".

I giggled and touched my extreme short hair, I chuckled "I don't know, they just disappeared out of sudden once I woke up in this morning.".

She giggled and touched her bald head as well "Me too. So, you are having puberty as you told me, right?".

I nodded and joked playfully with her "Ya, but you are growing up and I'm getting older now. That's the only difference.".

She looked at me innocently and questioned me "But, why don't you have to stay in hospital like me? You told me puberty does hurt a little.".

I bit my lips and lied to her "Well, getting older doesn't have to hospitalize. I did stay in hospital for puberty during your age.".

She nodded and couldn't leave her sight on my extreme short hair, she tried to control her laughter but her smile didn't show any sight of fading away.

I locked my eyes contact with her and questioned her curiously "Why? Why are you keep staring at my head?".

She bit her lips and kept shaking her head, she whispered "No, nothing. You look a little funny to be honest.".
