Justin's POV

I remember she told me that I am just a boy who had lost my legs and she's here to help me as walking sticks.

I remember she told me that money can't buy happiness, she just wanted me to stay happy all the time.

I remember she told me that she would never get back to Ryan anymore because I am the only man she loves the most.

But now, she left me for Ryan and left the boy sitting on the floor and crying helplessly.

I cried isn't because I can't stand up anymore but because I deserve it. I am the one who screwed up everything by wanting her to get back to Ryan.

I did say it, but I didn't mean it. That's just an excuse for me to sacrifice myself and free Ariana from this marriage. I knew she loves Ryan, but I never expected that she would get back to him this fast.

The feeling is so suck, it's like I am the one who's running behind her, but I was always one step behind the another man.

Suddenly, a familiar and friendly tone interrupted my thought as she's answering the door for me and welcomed me in.

"Wow! Justin, it's lovely to see you again.", Miss Annie held a smile and gave me a big hug instantly.

She welcomed me to enter her house and Ariana's mom was found sitting on the couch of the living room and looking at a photo in her hands.

She looked so down and broken. I could feel juices in her eyes which was about to roll down onto her cheeks.

I found the atmosphere awkward after what's happening between me and Ariana and I definitely understand her feeling.

I took a seat on a couch which was placed right across Joan and Miss Annie, silence was filled between both of us for a few minutes as Joan still hasn't left her sight on the photo in her hands.

She broke the silence by saying without looking away from the photo "If he were still here, I believe he will be very supportive to Ariana.".

I raised an eyebrow and questioned her confusedly "Who?".

She elevated her head and handed me the photo which showed Ariana, Joan and an unfamiliar man.

She held a smirk and said "Frankie, he's Ariana's brother.".

I looked at the man who was just about 10 years old in the photo which kinda reminded me of Elaine and some orphans of the orphanage.

I elevated my head to reach her eyes level, I questioned her curiously "Where is he now?".

She furrowed her eyebrows and reassured with me in shock "What? Ariana never told you about this?".

I shrugged and shook my head "No, she never mentioned me anything about her brother. I don't even know that she has a brother.".

For a second, the truth scared me and ripped my heart a little as Ariana never opened up a lot about her personal stuff to me.

She never told me because she didn't trust me. What's the point of this marriage if both of us didn't even have any trust issue between us.
