I had to wait a few days before returning to work, but I finally returned. Thiago has begun school and loves it, while Leo's season started up again. The last few weeks had been uneventful, but Jorge and Celia are visiting for two weeks which gave Leo and I some more alone time since Celia wanted nothing more than to be with Thiago.

Currently, Barcelona is away at Las Palmas and since I wasn't traveling with the team to the Canary Islands, I decided to stay back in Barcelona with Leo's parents. Celia and I were discussing Thiago's third birthday party in November at the kitchen bar, while Jorge was in the living room with Thiago watching the game. She wanted to be apart of the planning since last year was just Leo, Thiago, and I, he needed a grand celebration as she put it and I was just as happy to oblige. We had to plan now because she wouldn't be visiting between now and then.

"So, he wants a Mickey theme?" She asks before writing design ideas down.

"I think he would like Cars a bit more. He's been getting into that more and more," I told her as I pulled up my phone to show her a picture of him with Benja and the Cars set, mixed in with the Hot Wheels they had.

"Ay, Mari, I told you to send me all of these pictures. Ok, bueno, Cars it is."

I roll my eyes playfully, "I have a stream of every photo of him. Its on your iPhone. Aqui, let me show you." I say before showing her how to access the pictures.

After a few minutes of guest lists and venue ideas, we were interrupted with Thiago running in and right to me, crying.

"Thiago, mi corazón, que te pasa?" I ask him, picking him up and holding him as close as possible with Celia looking on concerned. I managed to hear him say "papi" and shot Celia a look, but before I could ask, Jorge came pacing in. "Leo is injured."

"What!" We shout in unison while I continued bouncing Thiago. Jorge nods his head and rushes us to the living room where they're replaying Leo being fouled and walking before just laying down and not getting up. I hold my breath and look on with wide eyes. I tell Jorge to start calling his contacts in Barcelona and he quickly gets on it.

"My poor baby, Mari, what happened? I don't see how it could be that serious. I mean he walked off, thats good right?"

I shake my head, "Might be, might not be. But, Leo goes on even when he shouldn't, for him to go off... I'd say it's not good." I kiss the side of Thiago's head and walk upstairs to try and calm him down a bit more.

I get to his room and lay him in his bed, before laying next to him as he cuddles into my side.

"Everything will be ok. You know that right?" I asked him.

He shakes his head. "No? Well, I know that your dad won't give up and he'll be ok no matter what."

"But Papi loves soccer. What if he no play?"

I smile softly, "Then you better lace up your boots, baby, it'll be your turn."

We lay there for a few more moments before I notice he fell asleep and I carefully remove myself from his bed before tucking him back in and making my way downstairs. Celia was on the phone as well as Jorge. He shakes head to me before going back to arguing with whoever was on the phone.

I pull out my phone to see many people checking with me to see how Leo was. I quickly call the physios I know that are on call, but none are answering. I curse at them and Celia looks at me with disapproval. I sheepishly shrug, and try Leo before realizing his phone was still at the stadium while he was more than likely on the way to a hospital. I groan before deciding someone will contact me when they can.
