"Do you miss it?", Carl asked me. We've been laying in his bed talking for like an hour.

"Do I miss what?", I questioned.

"Ohio. You're friends, family, boyfriends.", he says like I'm stupid.

"Oh yay I guess.", I say flipping over so we're facing each other. "I miss all my friends the most. I miss my cousins and aunts too. And do you really think I had boyfriends?", I ask him sarcastically.

"Um yay I mean look at you Em.", he says like it's obvious.

"Ha no. No one even looked at me like that.", I laugh. "I was just always Toby and Bailee's sister. "Like I mean I had a lot of friends but not like hot guy friends."

"Good.", he says smiling at me.

"Well now that we're talking about it there was this one kid Ethan and let me tell you he was like mhhm.", I say teasing Carl about my old crush.

"Well Ethan sounds like a pussy.", Carl says jealous. "Probably some rich kid. Like oh meet our son, Ethan.", he says mockingly.

"You know he's actually Toby's friend maybe you could meet him sometime.", I say messing with him

"I'll beat the shit out of him.", he says even more jealous.

Then we just start cracking up. Eventually we sit up and just look at each other.

"You know you should sleep over.", Carl says now completely smirking.

I think back to when Carl asked me to sleepover the night we were watching horror movies. That night I ended up falling asleep and Lip carried me home.

"Yay ok.", I say bitting my lip.

"Really", Carl says surprised.

I nod and then he hugs me.
