Chapter 20: Our First Party Together

"Hottest boyfriend huh?" Alec asks as we walk to socials, "Yeah, well first your the hottest guy in school, and now your my boyfriend," I say opening the door, I take my seat in the back, "Class today we are watching a movie," the teacher starts, what about the debate? I swear we don't do anything in this class, "Hey what are we going to do for the debate?" Alec asks, "Hm I don't know," I say opening my book and start doodling, "How about making drugs legal? Or have alcohol age lowered?" Alec says, I turn around he's leaning forward on his desk, "How about making this allowed?" I say leaning in and kissing him passionately, "Mr Rinder and Miss Devin please pay attention," the teach snarls, I sigh and turn around to pay attention.

I stuff my stuff in my locker and grab my bag, "Ready?" I ask Alec who's standing beside me, "Ready," he confirms, we walk out of the school hand in hand and to his motorbike where we drive to his house. "Want to come in for a bit?" Alec asks, "I really want to but I have to pick up kids," I say, he sighs, "Come with me?" I ask him, he looks up at his house, "Okay sure," he says following me over to my car. I get in and start the music, "Why do you pick the kids up?" Alec says, "Somedays just because I want to but mom has another divorce meeting tonight, it's going to be a later one," I say pulling into the lot for moms work, "Oh how's that going?" He asks, as I turn it off and jump out him following behind me, "Dot ask, he bought me a tv to sweet talk me after he-" I cut myself off have I told him? "After he hit you," Alec finishes opening the door for me, "Yeah," I say walking into the door, I open the second door and see mom working up front today, "Hey mom," I say, "Hey sweetie," mom says, "Alec," she says nodding to Alec, "Car keys for the car seats," I say, "Oh right," mom says turning around and shuffling in her purse she hands me a set of keys, "I'll go grab them," Alec says taking the keys from me, "Thanks," I say leaning against the reception counter. "Where's the receptionist?" I ask mom, "Shes on vacation that's okay I like working up front anyways," mom says, "Riley is there something you want to tell me?" Mom says, "What?" I ask, "I got a call from your principal today," mom starts, oh right, "Oh it's fine Alec dealt with it," I say shaking it off, "Riley I don't want Alec doing everything for you," mom huffs, "Mom I was being held against the lockers I needed help, Alec helped me, you should say thank you to him" I say getting angry, "Riley don't get angry, I just feel ever since you've been friends with him your getting in more not needed trouble," mom says, "Seriously mom? It's called figuring out how to stick up for myself," I say standing up straighter, "I am not trying to get in a fight, don't use that tone with me, I'm just saying you've changed a lot," Mom says, "Maybe that's how you see it maybe because your getting a divorce your getting all protective of us," I say, begging that I could take the words back the look of hurt on her face is irritating. But I can't take them back, Alec comes in then and places moms keys on the counter, "Let's go," I say to Alec spinning and walking out to the car. "Woah babe what happened in there?" Alec says grabbing my shoulder, "It doesn't matter, lets just go please," I say he passes me the keys, and we drive off to get Ava, i tell him what happened. "And I feel really bad right now," I say pulling in to Ava's day care, "Wait here," I say getting out and running inside, "Hey Riley," the lady says, Ava comes running out from behind the counter, "Riwey!" She screams jumping into my arms, I pick her up and swing her around the rest her on my hip and take her stuff, "Thanks," I say walking out, I put her in the backseat with her little ponies, "Hi Awec!" Ava shouts, "Hey Ava!" He shouts back, I drive over to get Mark and put him in the backseat. "Alec? Alright," Mark says happily, why do they like him more than me? At home they run inside, and Alec makes me wait in the car with him, "Theres another party this Friday," he starts, "Oh yeah but I thought you were leaving," I say, "Well now their coming down here and bringing the blonde so anything then to be there would be great," Alec says, who is this blonde? Alec seems like he really doesn't like her, "Alright are we going together than?" I ask, "Who else am I going to take?" He asks, "I don't know," I say, "Who's party is it?" I ask, "Cameron Taffer," he says, he's another popular guy in grade twelve, "Alright are we going with your friends?" I ask, "Nah I thought you and I would just go," he says I look over at him, "Okay, see ya later," I say unbuckling and getting out, He gets out and heads home.

When mom got home later that night we were quiet between each other, "This is really good," mom said after finishing her second helping of spaghetti, "Mom I'm really sorry I shouldn't have said that I was-" "Stop Riley I was leading it on and obviously you will still mad from earlier in the day that wasn't right of me," mom says, "I'm sorry," she added putting her dishes in the dishwasher. I came up behind her and hugged her when she turned away, "How did it go? The meeting?" I asked me still in her arms, "It wasn't so good, I'm going to court," I pulled back and looked at her, "What do you mean?" I asked, "The divorce councillor says due to the things in asking for and you kids I have to go but it'll be fine I have a good lawyer," she says, "Now go to bed," mom says pushing me away, I nod and start upstairs. I get ready for bed and glance across to the other bedroom, where Alec's light is still on, I climb out my window and sit on the roof. He's talking to someone and he's angry I go back into my room and go to sleep after watching an episode of Mistresses. I wake to my music playing and click it off jumping up and hopping in the shower and starting on my makeup and everything. After dressing myself in a long sleeve white shirt and black leggings with brown riding boots I grab my gym strip and I head downstairs to see what moms cooking for breakfast, "Riley I'll take the kids this morning but after school you'll have to pick them up I have a meeting," mom says, I assume it's with her lawyer I nod grab my brown paper bag and eating my eggs, then mom leaves and I still have twenty minutes till I have to go. I sit on the couch and play on my phone, "I feel like a library card since I've totally been checking you out," Alec says opening the door, "Did you notice I'm a best seller, currently unavailable," I say, he ruins my shoulders, "At least I know you have good pick up lines so I don't have to worry about other guys," Alec says kissing the top of my head, "Oh please nobody likes me," I say, "Well I do and I know for a fact many guys like you," Alec says, I smile, checking the time and see that it's time to leave. "Coming with me?" I ask him standing up grabbing my bag and keys before I head out the door, "Sure," he says, I close the door behind him lock it and follow him out to my car. He's wearing grey jeans and a black adidas hoodie and his black converse, "New pants?" I ask once in the car, "Yeah like 'em," he asks, "I like your blue jeans better but these are fine," I say smiling as I back out of the driveway and start off to school, "So today after school I've got to pick the kids up and I figured afterwards we could go for ice cream?" I asked, "Yeah sure that'd be great," Alec says sending a final text. I park and we get out, "Nice leggings where'd you get them Walmart?" Tiana snarls, Alec makes it noticeable when he slips his arm around my waist Tiana swallows. "I may have gotten these leggings at Walmart but at least my pants aren't off fifteen times a day," I say Alec opens the door for me, "And did I not make it clear yesterday that your jealous of me?" I ask she gulps again and storms off. Alec grabs my hips while I turn the knob for my locker, he turns me around so I'm facing him. "Alec," I say breathlessly as his face is mere inches from mine, "Yeah?" He asks, "You've got to stop this I can't focus on school," I say, he presses his lips to mine and our hips crash against each other. I feel like I could loose control with him that within the first month he will have taken my virginity, "Ahem," Sarah grunts from behind us, Alec pulls back we blush, I push him away, and open our locker, "Sorry," I say as she grabs her stuff, "Well I guess it's pay back," she says shaking it off as I throw my backpack in, I start to grab my books and she grabs my forearm, "Riley I want you to be careful," she starts looking at my intensely, "What do you mean?" I ask, "Well I don't want you to feel like your going to loose control, I don't want you to make a mistake," she says and I know exactly what she's talking about. She doesn't want me losing control and giving Alec my virginity when I'm not ready. "Alright," I say gathering the rest of my things and following her to class, "If he, or if you feel like your loosing control tell me?" Sarah says, "Alright," I say.
Friday Night
"I'm so excited," I say to Sarah, we all decided to get ready together including Jess, "This is going to be mine and Alec's first party together," I say, I'm dressed in a tight black mini skirt, with a teal strapless top, my heels are the same teal colour as the top and Jess has curled my hair so it flies effortlessly over my shoulders, if my mother saw me she'd die but she's out with the kids. I add black rose earring and a long necklace that has a rose hanging off it, roses and orchids are my favourite flowers. I stand up and look at my door which has a full body mirror hanging from it, Jess takes my spot doing her makeup, for my makeup I've done a simple black eyeliner with a small wing and light pink lip gloss, I look actually pretty good. We all look pretty good, Sarah is wearing short shorts with a v neck top and wedges, and Jess is wearing a pink strapless dress that sticks to her skin, she added a Eiffel Tower silver necklace and Sarah didn't wear any jewelry. Finally I'm ready to go and the girls push me out the door where Alec is waiting for me to get on his motorcycle, his eyes roam down my body, and mine down his. He's wearing a black v neck shirt and blue jeans, "Ready?" I ask him, I have my phone and he puts the helmet on me kissing my lips before jumping on his motorcycle, I walk over and pull my skirt up a little more so I can ride safer, he watches and I blush he does as well. We get to Cameron's house and the music is so loud, I can here the lyrics of This is What You came for belts out, I walk in and everyone is watching us as Alec wraps his arm around my waist I smile. And push my head into Alec's chest, so this is what a party with Alec Rinder looks like everyone staring. I smile as we walk over to the bar on the right the room black with different colour lights swimming around us. "A round of shots," Alec says, the bartender pours them and places them in front of us, "Cheers!" He shouts out drinks clink and I swing my head back and let the warm liquid flow freely down my throat, sting in as it goes down. "Another?" He asks and without thinking I nod taking another shot that lets my head buzz with adrenaline, "Let's dance," I say taking his hands and pulling him to where all the other kids are dancing, dessert comes on by Dawin. He takes my hands and spins me then dips me I laugh, he is smiling, then I grind against him feeling his rock hard abs against my back as I shake my head laughing, and feel his friend against my butt. "He stands up straighter I do the same as we spin again and I shake my hips just bouncing and dancing around, laughing as he grabs my hips and picks me upwards, then smile as he brings me so close to him, our breath is on each other's faces, he grabs my hand and pulls me to a empty hallway. Where I push him against the wall and our lips meet, anxious and needing, he flips us so I'm against the wall, he grabs under my butt games bing my bare legs and picks me up, I wrap my legs around him as my skirt crawls higher up my legs, he fumbles with a door knob as our lips continue crashing against each other he finally opens the door and slams it once we're in the room, laying me on the bed he kisses me, he breaks apart and takes off his sweatshirt, then presses his lips to my jaw and down to my neck where he bites my flesh gently before he stars sucking I moan out. Knowing that I could loose control very easily, before I pull his face off my neck and back to my lips his hands at my hips, mine on his neck, his fingers fumble with the hem of my strapless shirt wondering if he can go under my shirt, I answer with putting my hands at the edge of his and running then along his abs, then tug up at his shirt wanting it off, he grabs the edges and pulls it up, smiling when he goes back to kissing me his, hands crawling up to the edge of the built in bra, although I still have a bra on he pulls it upward and his hands find my white strapless bra covered in lace. His hands run to my back I feel so alive kissing him and his hands on my body feels so amazing. His hands go down to my legs where my skirt is high up my legs, which are still around his hips, his tongue runs along my bottom lip and I open my mouth wide when his tongue enters my mouth. After his tongue has gone around my mouth he kisses from my jaw down to my shoulders and to the top of the strapless shirt, kissing down my shirt and to the top of my skirt. I smile and he looks back up at me, and I start at the edges of my top and start to pull it off, his hands stop mine, "No," he says out of breath, "Come with me," he says, taking my hand and finding his shirt I pull my shirt back down, "Where are we going?" I ask, "Its a surprise," he says taking my hand and pulling me out of the bedroom and back through the house out the front door to his bike. He adjusts the helmet on my head and we take off, driving outside of town ten minutes, he parks at the edge of a trail, and grabs my hand pulling me into the trail which goes upwards. It isn't used a lot, I shiver and run my hands down my arms, "Here," he says taking his sweatshirt off and handing it to me, "Thanks," I say putting it over my head loving the way it smells cinnamony, I take a big breath in it, as we continue to walk upwards, I don't see a rock and trip falling forward, Alec catches me looks at my shoes, "Want a piggy back?" He ask, "Sure," I say as he bends down I wrap my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist as he starts I can see the top of the hill. At the top he lets me down, I gasp, across from us there is another hill with the sunsetting behind it, between the two hills on the left is a huge train bridge made of wood, below the bridge is a river flowing between the two hills the last bit of sunlight reflecting off the water, it's so clear. "Alec this is so beautiful," I say grabbing his forearm, it looks like there's a trail down to the river he sits down on the grass and I sit down beside him. "I thought this could be our spot," he says, I cuddle up to him, "I love it," I say, "How'd you find it?" I ask, "I came here once before with my family, we had a dog Chocolate, the kids picked the name, well he found this trail and I was trying to catch him but he brought me up here. I thought it was amazing and now I thought I should share it with you," he says, "It's a bit of a hike but it's worth it," he adds we watch the sunset, once it's set I look up at him as the stars start to fill the sky, then I lie back looking up at the stars, "I know we've only been dating for a couple weeks but I feel like it's been forever dating you," he says, "I feel the same way," I say, and right then at that spot I thought I should give him my virginity let him claim I'm his. But I know I can't, and I won't until I know he won't screw up or leave or something. "We should get going," Alec says starting to sit up, "I think we should stay for a little longer," I say stay in laid down, he smiles and I pull him back down for a kiss he leans I've me kissing me before he lays back down beside me and I lay my head on his shoulder. "Look there's O'ryan's belt," Alec says pointing upwards, "Oh yeah and there's the Big Dipper," I say. And that's how we finish our night pointing out stars and making new ones up, kissing every now and then, and enjoying this moment all together.
