Yesterday wasn't so bad.

In the morning, I didn't see them, since I have to be out of the house for 6:50am. I did, however straighten my hair and leave them out on the side since they were still warm. At the end of the day, I could have either done that or put them away to melt the wires...

Like usual, I was freaking out about Spanish. I'm way behind in it and I've still got to catch up on all of the other work that I missed when I was off.

Luckily, my teacher wasn't there, which gave me the opportunity to go and catch up on some of the other subjects that I missed.

The rest of the day was pretty alright after that. I only had one lesson, since my teacher were off, and then a police officer came into talk to us, since I'm taking law.

Not only that, but I had a meeting, where I've been selected for a mentoring scheme with Sheffield Uni, so their students come and help us. It turns out I was in the top 25% for taking this test we had to do at the start of the year. The selection process was also about whether your parents went to uni, your home situation, income etc. Only 20 people got selected, but looking at the categories, it's not really a surprise why I got selected. It's not bad though. It's probably going to help me more than anything.

However, once school ended, I ended up staying there because I thought that my step dad was going to start once I got home, because of the hair straightners. I stayed until 4:30 and then called my mum to ask her to pick me up since it was raining heavily and I would have had to have caught two busses to get home.

She told me that she was going out for dinner at my step dad's parent's house, but she would ring me back to tell me.

Not only that, but she said that her and my sister had had a huge argument about the way her and my step dad treats us, so the internet had been switched off, but it was going to be on for the time that I got home. As well as that, she told me that they were going to switch the internet off at 8pm, because I don't go to sleep at night.

I don't go to sleep because I panic about not doing my homework, so like that was going to work.

I went and spoke to my counsellor, who was luckily in school, and I told her about what had happened at home and about the fact that they refuse to buy us clothes etc.

She was fuming.

I also told her that I didn't think my mum would fill in the acceptance sheet for the mentoring thing, since she always says "Why should I do anything for you when yo do nothing for me." She told me that she was going to ring her up and explain how good the scheme is and try to pursuade her to let me participate.

Once I left her, my mum rang me and told me that she was coming to pick me up. They showed up a few minutes later, and ended up quizzing me on what universities I plan on applying to and where I'm going to live, since they're kicking me out when I'm 18.

They dropped me off home, and once I'd seen that they'd gone, I went to my neighbour;s house to speak to them.

I told them everything, and it turns out that they've been treating my neighbours like crap as well.

They are now looking at moving because of my family. They want me to go live with them. I really appreciate it, but I feel so bad that they want to move because of us.

Eventually, I went home, where my mum and step dad turned the internet off at 8pm, so I didn't have chance to do all my homework.
