She instantly looked up at him and eyes reflecting one another. Had Zayn not grasp the full beauty she beheld, before walking over to her table. He know knew how exquisite she truly was – picture-perfect even. Her hair cascaded delightfully along the curve of her back and ended with natural curls. Taking the reference of, “the eyes are the windows to the soul,” he admired hers even further. Zayn wanted to know the story of the female who had the power to transfix him so furiously and recklessly this early in the day.

As for Ellie she felt of nothing of that sort of “wanting to know him,” the only feeling that slithered its way in was ungainliness. Yet, neither Ellie nor Zayn broke the stillness that was so piercingly silent. Alas their staring contest came to an end because Ellie couldn't bare the deafening muteness. Zayn was one of disappointment, as he wanted to admire every breadth of her face, but the tension in the air was thickening and overbearing – even for him.

"What's your special for the day? Any suggestions?" the girl asked looking at the boy who was somewhat still in a stupor, and only after a moment he responded.

"Uh, I-wow beautiful, sorry," he cleared his throat when he understood the girl who he just met, started to look away again.

"Sorry, uh, the specials are really fit-no I meant to say good. Yeah, so it looks like you don't really eat a lot and you probably just woke up seeing that it is," he peeked at his watch and continued, "half past eight and you're the first customer," he stated gesturing around to the empty establishment, one that contained only a few workers.

"Oh well, I'll come back later then," Ellie said slightly frazzled from the unforeseen confrontation.

"No! Stay! I didn't mean anything by that. Goodness no, I'm sorry, I often say the wrong things when I talk to pretty girls," Zayn said modestly at first, then wanting to go back in time and withdraw the remark out of sheer mortification. "Uh... I suggest you get the Light Breakfast, that comes with fried or poached eggs, bacon, beans, grilled tomato, and a slice of buttered toast," he respired with a sincere leer.

Ellie couldn't help but smile back, as his smile was so alluring and whole-hearted. He had one those smiles where you begin to squint and get crow’s-feet; it could lighten a dark room and refresh anyone's day – if it had the power to do so. The way his hair was windswept and not styled gave an evident sign that time was not his friend early in the morn, yet it seemed to look effortlessly impeccable. The way he looked but exceedingly handsome with a jawline like no other and the features of a Greek god would make any girl become smitten. Ellie didn’t want to be one of a cliché and admit to longingly looking at him and hummed in “thought” of thinking of what she so desired to order.

"That sounds good, I'll have that, poached eggs, thank you," giving a brusque nod.

"And to drink, I'm guessing you'll have our Hot Chocolate with cream and marshmallows?" Now Zayn knew he was right and only wanted to hear it. He had been working there for quite sometime and knew a little about her undisclosed obsession.

"I hate knowing that I have to satisfy you by telling you you're right," Ellie chortled and Zayn indulged in the melodic sound.

"I'll be right back, uh I didn't catch your name.”

"Ellie, Ellie Moore," she said in the ways of any classic James Bond movie.

"Okay, Ellie Moore. I'll be back in a few minutes with your food," He said scribbling her order on a notepad and scurrying off to the kitchen.

After a few moments of sitting in peace and awaiting her food to arrive, Zayn conclusively placed her meal and hot chocolate in front of her.

"Enjoy, oh and I made the hot chocolate special, for you," he unpretentiously notified.

"Thank you," she beamed.

"Can I sit down?" This caught Ellie off guard, not once had someone embarked on one of her lonesome breakfasts.

"But don't you have to give that order to someone?" Ellie gestured to the coffee in the boys’ hand attempting to rid him. She had taken a liking to him, but was a bit unsure of herself and her social abilities.

"Oh, this is mine."

"Uh... okay, take a seat," she signaled to the empty chair opposite her.

"Thank you," the black haired boy gratefully sat down.

"Well, tell me about yourself, Ellie," he said taking a sip from the cup of coffee placed in his pasty palms.
