"Thank the gods for all that's holy!" I whispered, sinking to the floor.

"We need to find Z and Brad first" Luke said.

"Can I at least get over the hangover first?" I whined.

"Alex!" Luke sighed, picking me up bridal style.

It's always been like this.

Luke the rational one

And me the hot one.

"Try a hot mess!" Luke grunted.

Oh my! Did I say that out Loud?

"Yes and yes" Luke answered, dropping down beside me.

"I'll charge my phone and call them" I said, looking at him.

"You do that" he said, smiling.

"What are you smiling about?" I asked, tracing a scar on his forehead.

"This" Luke whispered, leaning in and kissing me.

A kiss that actually took my mind of everything and every problem in the world right now just until a pair of deep blue eyes shocked me.

And Luke as I got off him.

"What the hell!" Luke asked.

"Damon Luke!" I exclaimed.

"So?" He asked, getting up arrogantly.

"It's called cheating" I said standing up too.

"You've never cared about it before!" He exclaimed.

"Refresh your memory Luke!" I shouted," I never dated anyone except you before!"

"But I did!" Luke said.

"It's not my problem you don't find cheating a bad thing!" I flung at him.

"I did Alex!" Luke said quietly," you didn't find it acceptable"

"What'd you mean?" I asked.

"Refresh your memory now Alex! 1983?"

He did not just go there.

I stiffened.

And so did He.

"It was New York" he said, now pacing, “And I loved Emily"

I looked down at my feet as I recalled the most horrible fight I ever had with Luke.

"Did you hear that Alex!" Luke roared," I loved  Emily!"

I winced.

How dare he even go there?!

We both promised not to speak of it again!

"You didn't seem so bloody upset at that time Luke, one would've even said that you were enjoying!" I said, then turning around and walking to the bathroom.

"Alex-..."

I tuned him out by slamming the bathroom door shut, then slid down it and did something I hadn't done properly since 1983.

I cried.

Which increased even more as I heard the front door slam half an hour later.

*LUKE’S POV*

Damn you Alex! I thought as I made my way to the bar.

"Whiskey" I grunted out.

"Am sorry are you even-"
