"So what do we do? How do we help her?" Roxy and Verena came to stand by me. Heather sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "None of us here know magic we need a witch." A collective growl went up from the men. "Okay where do we find one?" Heather looked over at Kendrix then back to us. "There is none here after the incident with the last witch none is allowed back on this land." I wanted to pull out my hair. "So what do we do?" That seemed to be the question from everyone."My cousins back in our time. Their mother is a witch they inherited their magic from her. It would be easy to reach them. The only problem is you can't go back until all of you have met your mate." I looked over to Brodden then over to Argyll and Roxy. "What do you mean by all of us?" Both Roxy and Verena asked in a somewhat panic. "Roxy you shouldn't worry you already found yours." I motioned between both her and Argyll. Everyone in the room watched the two step away from each other faces red. "So what do I do? Go around and talk to every man who is a wolf?" Kendrix moved to stand by Heather wrapping his arm around her. "We could arrange it. Most of my men are here only a few are out scouting." Verena went pale and looked over to me. I didn't know what to say so I put my arm around her in a side hug. Giving her the support she needed. "This is all to much, never again will I follow you into a sketchy forest." Roxy had covered her face with her hands as she spoke. "Werewolves, witches, and now Vampires is there anything else we need to know about?" Heather sighed as she put her hand on top of Roxy's head. "It's a lot to handle right now. I felt the same way when I found out. Right now if you want to save Catriona you need to keep calm." Verena seemed to move back behind everyone keeping herself from the center of attention. She was always shy and never did well in huge crowds, and this was going to be overwhelming to her.
"You know Sorcha I blame you for this." Roxy pointed at me a she stood in front of me. Thinking she was joking I laughed. Quickly stopping when I noticed the look on her face. "Your blaming me for this?" Roxy poked me in the arm as she took a step closer to me."Yes I'm blaming you! Your the one who took us to that clearing!" I couldn't believe what was happening. "Yes Roxy because I wanted to show you and Verena. It wasn't like I wanted to go back in time." Roxy's glare hardened as she pointed to Verena. "Well here we are Sorcha!" I Narrowed my eyes at her and took my own steps toward her. "Roxy if you want to be a bitch then so be it. But don't you dare take this out on me!" Roxy turned and stormed out. Leaving me to handle the small group in the healing room. "She didn't mean it Sorcha she's just scared." Verena spoke from the back. I sighed not really knowing what to do. "I'll go find her." Argyll was already shutting the door before We could thank him. Heather and Kendrix both were watching us. "I'm going to help Argyll find Roxy. Are you going to be okay?" I shook my head yes. Not finding the energy to talk. I looked down at myself and winced I was covered in mud from running and falling in it. "I'll go get washed up and come back to sit with Catriona." I pushed through the crowd and stepped into the eerily quite hall. My footsteps echoed in the room making it painfully obvious that I am the only one walking the halls. Making me feel extremely lonely. "Sorcha ye should no' walk alone at night." I jumped at the sudden sound of Broddens voice. I turned and glared at him "don't come up behind me like that." It came out way harsher then I intended. Causing him to stop half way down the hall we were in. "Sorry..." Brodden hurried to me taking my hand in his. "Ye should no' blame yeself for what happened." I looked up into his face and couldn't help the surge of feelings that went through me. I stood on tiptoe and kissed his cheek. "What was that for?" His smile was sweet and warm. Making me smile in turn. I shrugged my shoulders and turned to walk. I was pulled into another direction by Brodden. "Ye can bath in my room." My face went red and I tried pulling away from him. "I can't bath in your room." A bunch of thoughts that I probably shouldn't be having went through my mind. Brodden looked over at me a dark look in his eye and a smirk on his face. "Only so I can watch over you. if ye have something else in mind I would be glad to help ye." If my face could get any more red it did. Making Brodden laugh at the fact. We entered his room an butterflies seemed to fill my stomach. It felt diffrent being here then the last time I was here. A tub sat by the fire steam to rolling off it. I smiled to myself knowing Dolina had something to do with it. I reached my hand in to feel that the water was perfect. I slipped off my boots then my weapons. I pulled my shirt up over my head and began taking down my hair. Letting it fall down my back. "What is tha'?" I quietly scolded myself letting myself forget that Brodden was in the room still. I look behind me to see his eyes were darkened. I swallowed and looked down on myself. "My tattoos?" He shook his head no and came toward me. I grabbed my shirt intending to put it on. Until Brodden reached out and took it. Leaving me in only my pants and bra. He slipped a finger under my bra strap and moved his finger up and down it. "This garment wha' is it?" It took me a minute to answer. My throat had gone dry with the way he was watching me. "It's called a bra women use them were I am from." My voice cracked a bit causing me to shut my eyes in embarrassment. I felt his warm callused hand run down my side making me shiver at the contact. I opened my eyes as he lifted my arm to see my quil tattoo. He caught me looking at him as he raised it and placed a kiss where it's tip touched my wrist. My breathing quickened and I couldn't help but compare him to a real wolf. Circling it's pray before it went in for the kill. He stopped behind me moving my hair away. He ran his fingers down my back moving his hand around my hip. His fingers tightened and he pulled me back. Kissing my neck when I was up against him. "Tell me Mo Stór do you still need time?" Everything in me stilled. "I'm covered in mud Brodden." I whispered out unsure if I could speak louder. He laughed making my belly tighten at the sound. "Aye tha' you are." His breath fanned over my face smelling oddly of mint and honey. His arm snaked it's way around my waist. As his other hand went under my jaw. Lifting my face so I could see him. His dark emerald eyes meeting my light green ones. Before we crashed together in a heated kiss. That literally had my toes curling at its intensity. I had managed to turn so I could wrap my arms around him. When we pulled apart both of our breathing was ragged. He put his forehead on mine. "I do na' know how much longer I can wait Mo Stór." I knew he was right I could feel almost a darkness creeping into him. I didn't know how but I knew. I put my hand on his cheek making him look at me. I had made my decision. Not only would I be saving Brodden but it would be one more step closer to saving Catriona. "You don't have to wait." He kissed me again but this time he took his time. It was sweet an tender not like the other kisses we had shared. He pulled away making my eyes flutter open at the lack of contact. His smile sent me warmth as he pushed my hair behind my ear. Leaving his hand on my cheek. "Mo Stór are ye sure?" I nodded my head yes as he scooped me up off the floor. Carrying me to his bed and setting me down on it. A knock on his door had him growling making me giggle at him. "This had better be something important!" His voice had a ruff tone to it. Causing me to stroke his jaw to calm him down. "The Lard needs ye in his war room." Brodden set his head on my shoulder as he answered. "Aye tell the Lard I'll be there." Brodden stood helping me up after him. He was a but angry and you could see it in his face. "You need to go Brodden, I'll be in the healing room with Catriona." Brodden gave me another toe curling kiss before heading to the door. "Please be careful Mo Stór." I smiled and gave him a quick kiss. "I'm always careful. Now go before you get into trouble. He left the room and I quickly finished undressing. Climbing into the tub and surprised it was still warm. I couldn't help the pang of sadness when my thoughts turned to Catriona. She was a sweet girl who didn't deserve what happened to her. I quickly washed and dressed into the dress that Dolina left me. Strapping on my weapons refusing to leave them behind. I dared anyone to harm anyone I cared for again.
