Closets and Rage

"His dad's on his way home... for the first time in a year..." Mike sighed

"Oh?" I asked what's that got to do with it? Caleb and the girls walked in behind, but no Jackson

"His dad and him are... not close." Mike shrugged "and last year after some small teaching gig his dad just up and left to travel and work."

"So you want me to keep Jackson in the dark, until he and 'daddy' aren't on the rocks?" I asked

"I think it's just best if you don't already hurt him before he's got his dad on his back." Mike sighed again

"They are pretty rocky near each other..." Caleb agreed

"Yeah... they... push each other's buttons..." Dani nodded, "And I don't really care for uncle Charlie anyways..."

"Fine" I sighed, "but as soon as I can, this is happening. He's a grown man I'm sure he'll be able to take this without you watching him."

"You don't know that." Mike frowned

"Dude... are you in lo-" I stopped once Jackson walked in

"JAI, I got that picture you liked copied onto foam board!" Jackson came in with the photo of lightning in black and white

Well if I didn't feel like crap before...

"Oh cool thanks Jackson." I smiled, "before you said it was funny I chose this one... why?"

"Oh, well that was the first photo I ever took, my dad had taught me, but it was the first I took, developed and framed on my own." He smiled

"Ah, well that's really cool." I force-smiled, I took the board and looked at it, if this was his first then he really does show promise... maybe he'll forgive me if I help him work with dad.

"You okay?" He asked

"Yeah, just a little tired I guess..." I sighed and sat down on a couch with Dani next to me. "So we gonna see who'll kick who's ass at COD Mike?" I smirked

"Game... on" he jumped over the couch and grabbed the controllers. I caught the one he tossed and started kicking his butt right away.

5 minutes later:

"YOU'RE A DAMNED CHEAT JAI! NO SCOPING!"

"WAAAAAAAH, GO CRY TO YOUR PINEAPPLE!"

"GO... CRY TO YOUR... LINDERBERRIES!" he screamed back

10 minutes later:

"GOD DAMN IT LINDERBERRIES ARE DELICIOUS!!!" Mike snapped as I sniped him

"SO'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND WITH CREAMCHEESE!" I smiled, he gasped

"WELL SO'S YOUR... FACE!" Mike yelled again

"Probably" Caleb and Jackson said and looked at each other

15 minutes later:

"Mike, come out of the linen closet, no one's going to eat your pineapple... okay?" Kay cooed

"I will totally eat it..." I growled as I rubbed my arm when he punched me

"JAI! SHUT UP!" Kay snapped

"Fiiiiiiiiine, I'll leave the fruit's fruit alone..." I sighed

"Hear that? It's okay now..." Dani said soothingly to the locked closet

"mmo fuh beffr shiy awa" we heard him say back

"MIKE JUST COME OUT OF THE CLOSET!!!" Jackson

"won't be the last time he hears that." Caleb teased, I snorted.

Mike burst out and held up the pineapple, "I said, 'mo fos better stay away'!" he pouted

"We will, Mike just relax..." Kay smiled

"Please, your pineapples just rotting away dude..." I smirked

"AAAAAAhikvfsbhjsoHVbdjsV!" Mike yelled and went back into the closet

"DAMN IT JAI!" the girls yelled

DIIIIING DOOOOONG

"Pizza's here" Jackson said

"I'll help you carry them." I said I walked with him to the door but heard talking.i glanced a Jackson but he was confused too. We opened the door and a man's suit-clad back was infront as he talked and paid for the pizza.

"Dad?" Jackson said

"Hey Jacks, you've gotten big..." His face was covered by for pizza boxes and a bag on top

"It's been a year..." Jackson snorted, "Kids grow up."

"That they do..." He set the pizzas down, "Time changes things though Jackson... and people."

He turned around and I recognized him

How could I forget this man?

He smiled sickly, "Oh hello again Jaime...You've changed"

"YOU BASTARD!" I roared and ran forward to kill him
