''Gate 5 to Gatwick England is now ready for boarding, please ensure you have your boarding passes and passports ready for inspection''
I look up at gate 5 with my passport in hand before walking slowly to the growing queue. I hand my passport to man on gate who looks like his teeth would probably glow in the dark. He looks at my passport and then my boarding card before looking back up at me. 'You're in seat 27 C you'll be boarding towards the back of the plane' before handing them both back. I walk towards the back of the plane and ascend the steps before finding my seat, I sit next to an old couple who just frown at me before turning away. Flying economy was never fun.
'I'm on my way Lis' I whisper to myself before the plane finally takes flight.
