Finding Mr. Perfect's Flaws

[Twenty-four]

Bulletproof love... that is, until you shot me

I'm so sorry. I'm going to make excuses again. Hospital, dad problems, boy problems, MY POWER WENT OUT... I am seriously screwed up. Thank you ALL for asking if I was okay, and continuing to give me support. This story is growing old and I promise it's almost done. Though I don't care for the plot or where I took the story, these characters will always be in my heart. I love my boys. And I love all of you, even though 90% fan me for fan backs. Haha. Thank you for being patient. <3

About a month later, I was in an RV to the mountains. Rich had a little brother that I didn't know about and Collin, Rich and I volunteered to camp out with them for the brothers boy scout troop. Rich was sitting in the passenger seat of the car, talking to Dean as he drove. Collin and I were lying down at the table inside of the RV.

Collin had stretched out, his long legs almost going off of the seat cushion, his back against the window. He had pulled me on top of him, so I was now lying on top of him, the back of my head resting against his shoulder. He wrapped his arms around me, half of the time dozing off and the other half tickling me or just kissing the top of my head. Since the Johnny incident, we had gotten even closer. But Collin still hadn't told his father. But he made it up to me by buying me dinner and staying at my house at night. My father still hadn't come back, even though he said he'd just be gone a week.

Collin, I knew, was ready to have sex all of the times we were alone. But I also knew that that wasn't the only reason he was with me and he didn't pressure me about it. But now, I knew I would be taking his virginity soon.

We both slept for a few hours. When we woke up, we were finally at the campsite. And then, we were ready to get started. About a half hour later, Collin and I were failing at trying to put up a tent. I was freaking out because of the bugs and Collin was laughing at me. I accidentally ripped the tent and Collin fell in the mud. We were both giggling.

"This looks nothing like the picture," I said, looking at one of the poles in fascination.

"I told you we should have read the instructions," Collin said, a smile in his voice. He was trying to put two of the poles together.

"Who reads instructions? I mean, it's just a tent. It shouldn't be that hard," I pointed out. He laughed.

"Everything is hard with you."

"Nice choice of words," I said, smirking. He blushed, ducking his head. He pretended to be busy with the poles.

"Shut up."

"I'm gay, remember?" I asked, laughing. I swatted at a fly that landed on my arm. He smirked this time.

"How could I forget?"

As we smiled at each other, a little kid ran past me. He was in his boy scout uniform, looking sweaty and way too excited. But before he could get to far away, I grabbed his jacket. "Hey kiddo," I said, smiling at the little blonde boy. He looked up at me, confused.

"What do you want?" He demanded, crossing his arms over his chest. I heard Collin laugh behind me. I frowned at the boy.

"Do you know how to put up a tent?"
