For getting over 4k reads on my first story (The New Half-Blood), and 2k reads on its sequel (CHB Again?), I have decided to post an excerpt from the first book in my twelve-part series.
Before you read on, I'd like to point out that I'm actually a good writer now, and my plot lines aren't as confusing. So, when looking back on my first two (crappy) books, try to keep in mind that I was literally in grade five when I wrote them (published them once I got an acc on Wattpad), and now I'm in grade nine.
The series is called the "Child Of" series. As you may have guessed, each book is of a different god;
1. Child of Zeus
2. Child of Hades (replacing Hera for obvious reasons)
3. Child of Poseidon
4. Child of Demeter
5. Child of Ares
6. Child of Athena
7. Child of Apollo
8. Hunter of Artemis
9. Child of Hephaestus
10. Child of Aphrodite
11. Child of Hermes
12. Child of Dionysus
In every book, YOU are the main character, the demigod, the hero. Alongside your satyr (or sometimes not), you will fight your way to Camp Half-Blood approximately sixty-three years after the timeline in TOA, and will then be asked to prove yourself by going on a quest. Being a demigod is hard, and with different parents come different challenges you need to overcome.
These books WILL TAKE TIME TO WRITE! Though I am giving you a small teaser now, this book probably won't be published until September or later (earlier if I don't sleep ever).

I tried to focus my eyes, but all I could make out was a blurred shape standing protectively above me, facing the ghost.
The picture sharpened. Johnny was there, green muscle shirt and bag on his upper half. His lower half...oh my gosh...
"Your Uncle Grover was the satyr who found Pan." I muttered. "When Panther Vandal told you to step aside, she called you that. A satyr. Johnny...you're a freaking sheep!"
Johnny cast a weary look down at me. "I'm not a sheep, Y/N. I'm a satyr. Half man, half--"
"Sheep."
"I am legitimately explaining right now that my other half is not a sheep, it's a--"
"Sheep." I insisted. "You. Are. A. Sheep."
"Can we talk about this later?" Johnny asked.
"Do we even have a later?"
"No," the ghost said softly.
