Chapter 6

I waited for him to react. He seemed just as shocked as I was before. What had I done?

I ran upstairs abruptly as tears streamed down my face. Soon enough, my tears had blurred my vision and I almost tripped over one of the many steps leading up to the second level.

I had embarrassed myself in front of the one and only Taylor Lautner. I did not realise my love for him had stayed, despite all the bad experiences we shared and the break up.

I was weak, vulnerable.

I figured he knew that. I mean, why else would he have shown up at my doorstep and offered me a bouquet of flowers?

Halfway up the stairs, I looked back at Taylor, whom I had left all alone in the living room. I felt kind of rude for leaving him there like that.

I removed my sunglasses and let my tears flow freely. I fell on my bed and almost immediately, I smelt the scent of roses. I felt a hand on my back.

Before I knew it, Taylor dropped down onto the bed beside me.

"There's no need for tears. I came here to comfort you and see if you were alright. And also, I came here to.." He hesitated.
