Chapter 2, Had To Tell

Lucy's Pov, 

My eyes widen a bit as I looked behind me to see Natsu rushed over along with Gajeel. I couldn't help but smile at him and then I looked at Levy who was using herself to shield me and my child. "GET AWAY FROM THEM" I heard Natsu scream upset as he jumped up the person his fist on fire. Gajeel rushed to Levy's side asking if she was ok as I watched Natsu trying to hit the unknown man who was just moving to fast for Natsu. "Im, Lucy are you two ok?" Levy asked looking at me as I nodded getting up. Natsu soon moved fast and in front of me.

"Who the hell are you?" he asked clearly pissed as the man laughed. "How rude, the names Nick" he bowed a little smirking as I couldn't help but hug Natsu from behind. My emotions had to be all over the place didn't they? "What ever you want Blondie and Shrimp for, your not getting bud" Gajeel also sounded upset as Nick started laughing. "Im only after Mrs Dragneel, the bookworm would of been a plus to kill with her being annoying and smart" Nick made me freeze up. "YOUR NOT GETTING ANYWHERE NEAR MY LUCY GOT THAT" Natsu shouted as I put my face on his back.

My eyes watering up as my thoughts went to the baby, did this guy know? "I will be back and trust me, you won't be able to stop me" Nick smirked as everything was dark, I could hear myself, Levy, Natsu and Gajeel coughing as we was surrounded by unknown black smoke. "Lucee you ok?" Natsu asked as the smoke cleared. "F-Fine" I answered still a little shaken up as I let go of Natsu. He turned around fast pulling me into a hug. "I won't let him touch you, don't worry" Natsu kissed my forehead as I hugged back smiling a little.

This was the worst time to tell him but if I didn't tell him I knew someone else would. "Lucky Erza blocked that guys attack or the guild hall would be destroyed" Gajeel made me look at the hall to see it still in tact and Erza on the ground being healed by Wendy who soon hurried over here. "You guys ok?" Wendy looked to me more worried as I nodded smiling. "We better tell Gramps about this" Natsu mumbled as he pulled away making me nod. I was worried on how to tell Natsu about me being pregnant. Natsu then looked at me worried as the others walked ahead to the guild.

"Lucee what's wrong? Sure your not hurt?" he asked worried grabbing my hands as I let out a small smile at him. "I was just worried about if you didn't come home" I answered not really lying as that was on my mind as Natsu pulled me into another hug. "Well Im home now" he made me smile as I hugged back. I had to tell him. "N-Natsu" I whispered as he looked at me. I was worried about what he would say. "Yeah Lucee?" he asked playing with my hair as I looked at him. "I-I need to tell you something important" I looked at the ground and then back at Natsu who looked worried.

"I-Im Preg-" Before I could finished we heard screaming coming closer to us. We looked over to see Mira. "LUCY ARE YOU OK" she shouted worried pulling me out of Natsu's arm and into her own. I saw Natsu glaring daggers at her as I smiled a little. "Im fine Mira" I answered as she then pulled away. "I stopped you from telling didnt I?" she then asked rubbing the back of her neck as my eyes widen a little looking at Natsu who looked more worried. "Telling what?" he asked as I grabbed his arm. "N-Natsu Im pregnant" I answered as his eyes widen.

"S-say wha?" he asked looking pale as I looked at the ground rubbing the back of my head as Mira hit his arm. "You heard her you idiot, your going to be a father" Mira snapped and then walked off upset as I looked at Natsu who stood there in shock. I wished he didn't stay silent. With a blink of an eye Natsu had his arms around my waste lifting me in the air spinning smiling his head off. "THIS IS AMAZING NEWS LUCEE" he shouted as loud as he could making me giggle. He put me down and pulled me into a kiss. I kissed back melting into his warm lips.

"HEY LOVE BIRDS GET INSIDE ALREADY BEFORE LUCY GETS A COLD" We then heard Mira shout making us pull away and my cheeks go red. "She's right" Natsu then picked me up bridal style as I looked at him shocked. "Natsu what are you doing?" I asked trying not to shout as he smirked at me. "Like I'm going to let you walk while pregnant or leave my side" he then rushed us inside as I felt my cheeks going even more red. Natsu's protective side was really cute. "GRAY IM GOING TO BE A FATHER BEFORE YOU" Natsu shouted right away smirking as Erza and Gray just looked at us shocked.

"S-Say wha?" Erza and Gray asked as Natsu wouldn't put me down. "Lucy's pregnant we all found out yesterday when she threw up" Wendy giggled as a smile formed on Ezra's face as Gray just crossed his arms. "Better be a good father Flame-Brain" Gray snapped making Natsu glare daggers at him and just held me closer to him. "Natsu you can put me down now" I snapped as he looked at me and saw he was still carrying me. He just smiled putting me down, kissing my forehead making my cheeks burn up again as everyone looked at us with awe. 

"IM BETTING 40 JEWELS ITS A BOY" Cana then shouted making everyone else start betting and screaming as I sighed putting my hand on my head. "Let's talk to Gramps and then head home" Natsu whispered in my ear making me smile at him nodding. Natsu grabbed my hand as we walked to Master Makarov's office.
