Niall's P.O.V

She was sleeping when my phone rang. I looked, expecting it to be either Paul or one of the boys. It wasn't. It was my mum. I immediately picked it up.

"Hello sweetie!" She said.

"Hi mum! How are you?" I asked.

"Brilliant. And yourself?" She asked politely.

"Amazin' So, uh, what's up?"

"Oh Nothing, just wanted to check in on you."

"I'm great, (Y/N) is too." I replied.

"Oh yes, (Y/N)! She's good too. You still like her right?" My mum asked.

"Mum, I love her. I really love her." I said.

"Well that's good. I like her too. She's a very sweet girl."

"Ya she is. But it's just crazy though. Even after all these months, she makes me nervous around her. She's so pretty. She still makes me heartbeat, I still get butterflies in my stomach. Still. I should be all over the butterflies."

"Niall, that's what true love sounds like. If you're in love, the butterflies'll never stop." My mom explained.

"I do love her. I love her so much." I said.

"Good. Alright son, I have to go now. I love you."

"Alright, I love you too mum." And we hung up. I looked over at the couch and noticed (Y/N) was awake.

"I still give you butterflies?" She asked sweetly.

"Yes."

She came over and sat with me. "Did I ever tell you I still get nervous talking to you?" She asked.

"Really? You do?" I asked.

She nodded. "I guess that just shows how much I love you." She said leaning her head on my shoulder.

"No. This does." I turned her head towards me amd kissed her passionately. "That shows you how much I love you." I whispered.
