Mackenzie's POV:
I walk out of the bathroom, not even bothering to clean up the mess I left behind. I don't care anyways.
I go onto Cliqstr and see that "John4123" has tagged me in a status
John4123: @/KenzieZiegler oh, I can't wait to see the look on your face tomorrow
KenzieZiegler: What are you talking about?
John4123: Burn.
What is he talking about? Burn what? I throw my phone on the ground and stare at the ceiling in dismay. Then I get into a train of thought.
Life.
Why my life is so shitty.
How pathetic I am.
Burn.
J's POV:
2 days earlier
"So get this" Kendall says, sitting down at the table
"Chloe, Brooke, and Paige got called into the office about the video, when they didn't even leak it!"
"Why did they get called down then?" Maddie asks , "And why did they agree to it?"
"We're apart of the plan" Paige beams, walking in, along with Brooke and Chloe
"Reaaaaaly..." Maddie says, spinning in her swivel chair
"Yep" they say, sitting down
"Now, what are we going to do next?" Brooke asks
"Well, there is only one thing to do" I say
"What is that?" Paige asks
"Expose her secrets." I say
"How will we do that?" Brooke asks
"Well" I begin, standing up , "Each one of you will go through the pm, and expose one secret each"
"What happens after that?" Kendall asks
"Depends on the outcome" I say
"Ohhhh" Kalani nods
"So you guys, get to work, I will be leaving" I say
"What are you going to do?" Maddie asks
"I'm planning everything!" I yell
"Okay jeez" Maddie says, then I strut out of the room
Mackenzie's POV:
Two days earlier
"Brynn" I say
"Yea Mackenzie?" She asks
Brynn and I are at the park. Not a playground park, but just a wide open grass field park.
At this park, is a slope. On the slope, lays Brynn and I. We are staring into the soft sky, talking.
"Would you ever, I don't know... turn your back ok me?" I ask
"No, of course not" she says
"Okay..." I smile
"Why?" She asks
"I don't know. Every friend I have ever had has always betrayed me. But I know you would never do something like that"
I get a little choked up. I think back on my terrible experiences with past "friends" And it's so nice to have a true friend like Brynn to help me in hard scenarios like this
"Never." She smiles
Brynn's POV:
Two days earlier
"I don't know. Every friend I ever had has always betrayed me. But I know you would never do something like that." Mackenzie says
I can hear hurt in her voice.
"Never." I say
I think back on the other night when I gave Maddie the Burn Book. I had betrayed Mackenzie.
But, I had to pay Maddie back. She had helped me with something before.
Maddie's POV:
Two days earlier
"So guys" I say, pulling up to a computer , "We need to post these secrets on the John account, who wants to go second?"
"Don't you mean first?" Kendall asks
"No, I mean second. I'm going first" I say
I log onto the account and post the first secret. The one about Mackenzie going on a date with her dog.
Everybody cracks up into a chorus of laughter
Kendall, Kalani, Chloe, Brooke, then Paige post the secrets.
"This is perfect" I whisper
