Chapter 1: Comments

Mackenzie's POV:
"Hey Mom!" I say as I run through the front doors of my two-story Victorian home.

"How was school?" My mom asks
"Great! Now where da presents?" My mom let's out a laugh.
"Let me go get them." She says, drawing out each word.

I impatiently set at the counter, waiting for my mom to come in with the presents. Then she finally walks in with a big box, accompanied by a few other small boxes.
"Oooooooo" I say. I start of with the small boxes. Most of it is dance wear and clothes. Then I go for the big box.
After I tear through the paper, I almost faint at the sight.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME????" I ask excitedly. "THANK YOU" I shout to my mom. She got me an iMac!

I dart upstairs and into my room to get me laptop set up. The first thing I do is text Brynn
"BRYNN YOU'LL NEVER GUESS WHAT"
"Omfg whattttt"
"MY MOM GOT ME AN iMAC!!!!/'"
"O MAH LORD I'M COMING OVER"
"OKAY C YA SOON"
(Text convo over)
First thing I do is set up social media
"So what's this fancy social media everyone is on????" I ask Brynn
"Cliqstr" she says
"Oooooooo" The only social media contact I really had on my phone was Instagram, FaceBook, and Twitter. Which everybody ditched for Cliqstr, which is only accessible by PC
"First things first" I begin "username..."
"Obvi @/kenzieziegler" Brynn says. Then I crunch the letters k-e-n-z-i-e-z-i-e-g-l-e-r into the username slot. Then I entered my birthday, which I had to lie about to get onto the site, age, which I also lied about, and answered a few security questions which were "Name of your first pet?" And dumb crap like that
"And we're done!" I say
"Yessssssss" Brynn says. We both let out a laugh.
"So how to I upload??????" I ask confused.
"Go to your profile, then click the camera text to your profile pic." Brynn explains
"Ooooo okay" I upload a picture of me in an Adidas crop top, two french braids, sunglasses, white converse, and some denim jeans.
"I like that pic" Brynn says
"Thanks lol"
I caption the pic "Summer vibes☀️"
"Well I gtg" Brynn says
"Bye Brynny Boo" I say. Then Brynn walks out the door.

About 5 mins later, I get a friend request from Brynn. Ofc, I accept it. She likes my pic and comments "😍👌🏼"

"Ugh I'm starving" I say to myself. I rush downstairs and get a banana.

"How do you like your present?" My mom asks with a smile on her face.
"I LOVE it!" I reply, then dart back upstairs.

When I go onto my Cliqstr, I've received a few comments
