Mackenzie's POV:
Brynn and I walk into the lunch room, only getting salad and fruit from the salad bar.
"Where should we sit?" Brynn asks
"There's a nice spot at Chloe's table" I say
"You wouldn't"
"For a matter of fact, I would. Now are you coming or not?" I say
"Coming!" She yells
Brynn and I take a seat at Chloe's table.
"Hi Kenzie and Brynn! Can't we sit with you today?" All the cheerleaders ask.
Surprised that the cheerleaders of all people want to sit with us, we accept the offer.
"Um, what the hell do you think you're doing?" Chloe asks
I stand up "Now Chloe, you see that there are 30 tables maybe in here, and we decided to sit here. Now why don't you go take your dumb blonde as over to the geek table or something? I heard they need more players for their Magic game"
"Oh I oughta-"
"Zip it."
"You think you can tell me what to do?"
"I think I can"
Chloe grabs my tray of salad, and shoves it in my face
"You bitch!"
My comment makes the whole cafeteria turn their heads in our direction
"Smile!" Chloe says, taking a picture of me
"I run into the bathroom and wash my face off, with additional tears coming out of my eyes
All the cheerleaders, and Brynn, come in the bathroom to check on me
"Mackenzie are yo-"
"How do you think I am, Brynn?" I ask
"If it makes you feel better, cheer tryouts are today! I think you would make a perfect addition to the team! Brynn too!" Cheer captain, Cassidy, says
"I'll see if I can make it" I sigh
Right then, all of our phones go off
We all check them to see a post from Chloe
It's of me with the salad in my face
"Looks like the pig had a good lunch today! It will add on to her 80 pounds well!"
"Wait, you're 80 pounds?" Cassidy asks
"Yuck!" She says, "forget about tryouts today"
"And you flashed?!?!" I cheerleader asks
"Forget it, Jade! You're gonna catch the ugly"
"Kenzie I'm sor-"
"Save it Brynn! I'm not in the mood"
"I was just trying to he-"
"Just leave me alone!"
Can't wait till this day is over.
