Don't be confused because it has a bit of retrospective events.

As soon as Keana left Lauren alone the younger girl's mind went back to no one else than Camila.

The biggest irony was that although she didn't even talk to Camila and although she ignored the younger girl all the time, Camila was actually the only thing on her mind.

No matter how hard Lauren tried to think of something else, her friends, her college, her family, nothing helped, at all. Somehow she'd always found something that links her thought to Camila and once again she'd be at 0 again, which is probably why Lauren was once again busy with thinking about the younger Cuban girl.

Since the day Lauren laid her eyes on Camila and heard that raspy voice, she had a feeling the brown eyed girl will be special to her. She wasn't wrong, because Camila was and somehow is again one of the biggest part of her life.

Back in high school, once they finally worked out all of their feelings and started going on dates Lauren was the happiest girl ever. Camila was her happy place, her safe heaven, her lighthouse. Camila was like the light in the dark, especially when the dark became too real and Lauren would freak out of her mind as the drugs hit her hard.

She kept thinking about the morning few days ago, when she left Camila alone. She'd be an idiot not to see the parallel between that morning and the morning she left for Wilmington. She was the one who left Camila, both times, and although many would think differently her heart broke both times.

The first time was so bittersweet. She knew her time with Camila is limited and she did her best to make the most out of it, out of their last night together. And the morning after, when she woke up, she cried because it was the hardest decision she ever had to do.

It wasn't even 8 in the morning when Lauren heard her phone buzzing and she picked it up.

"Hello?" she groggily asked

"Where are you Lauren?"

"I uh, I fell asleep."

"Are you at Lucy's place?"

Lauren looked at the girl next to her, just to make sure.

"Yeah, I'm at her place." She lied

"Well you are supposed to be at the airport in an hour and something, please don't be late Lauren." Her dad's stern voice said

"I won't dad."

"Okay then, see you soon mija."

"See you." She said and ended the call

As soon as the call ended Lauren looked at the younger girl sleeping peacefully next to her.

"So beautiful." Lauren whispers to herself

For the next few minutes she just sat there, thinking about her next move. It was already decided that she's going to Wilmington for the summer and then to Colombia University. She was excited about it, but at the same time, she was heartbroken.

And the main reason for it, was the tiny girl sleeping next to her, cuddling her stuffed banana toy Lauren bought her just two months ago.

She didn't even notice she's crying until a soft sob escaped her lips.

"Fucking shit, get it together Jauregui." She mumbled

She wasn't sure if she should wake Camila up and have a proper goodbye, but then again, if she were to wake her up, would she even get to the goodbye part? It was hard as it is while Camila was sleeping, not knowing about the storm going inside of Lauren's mind.
