Paper Planes: A Short Story by Nicole Sandoval Summary: Joseph "Joey" Weldon is a writer. Well, quite not yet. He's only 18 of course. But he's going to be. Joey's moving to New York to become one but he cannot leave if there are too many words unsaid. He decides to write a letter to the only person holding him back, Lucy, his love. But it's no ordinary "love" letter. It's full of hate as well. Joey's not sure if he's going to regret this decision or if its going to send him free. It's 50/50. All of Joey's feelings and words take the form of a paper plane.
Why should you read this: I don't usually read short stories. But this one has a different approach and it's really good how he chooses to relay his feelings through a letter.
