Chapter 20

Normani's POV

"I can't believe we had to cancel an interview just because Normani was feeling 'nauseous'!" Lauren spat as we boarded the bus again.

"Lauren!" Camila gasped.

"What?! We could've just given her Tylenol or something!"

"She fainted!" Ally cried, suddenly furious. "I was the only one who tried to save her, and if I hadn't she probably wouldn't even be here right now!"

"But I am," I say, stepping up to grab Ally's hand. "So can we stop fighting and go get something to eat?" I glared at Lauren and turned to face Camila, who I knew would never turn down food.

"But it's just going to be more salad!" She sighs, falling back onto a couch.

"No, the doctors talked to our manager about the way we've been eating and we're going out for burgers!"

Mila fell off of the couch and onto the floor before running over and wrapping me in a tight hug. "This is the only time I will ever be happy about you getting hurt!" She promised. I laughed and pulled her off of me.

"What are you guys waiting for?!" Dinah shouted from the middle of the parking lot. "Let's go get some food!"

"Wait!!" Camila shrieked. "I have to get my protest posters!!"

"Protest posters?" I asked.

"What are you protesting against?" Ally wanted to know.

"Salad, duh!"

"Okay, but where did you get protest posters?" I questioned, still confused.

"Ally, come help me get them!" Camila demanded, dragging Ally to the outside of the bus, opening the compartment so she could get her suitcase.

Ally's POV

"Mila, what in the world are you doing?" I asked as she started to rummage through her clothes.

She lifted her head up when everyone had followed Dinah into the restaurant. "I wanted to know if you were okay, but I didn't want to ask in front of everyone else."

I looked at her for a second before answering. "So you know about what happened?"

She nodded, but didn't make eye contact with me. "Lauren told me."

"Lauren told you?! Did she say anything about how Arin got here?!" I shouted angrily.

Camila stepped back slowly and I assumed that I was scaring her. "No, but she said whoever did it must really hate the fact that you and Normani are dating."

"So...So she didn't do it?"

"No! She might be pissed that you're getting away with it, but she would never hurt anyone like that!"

I didn't say anything, carefully mulling over or conversation. "Lauren didn't do it...so who did?"

Normani's POV

Just as I was about to bite into my burger, (which was quite small thanks to management and their "portion sizes") I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I reluctantly set the burger back onto my plate and pulled out my phone.

Lo didn't do it!

To: Allycat

What?! How do u know?!

From: Allycat

Mila just told me

To: Allycat

That proves nothing! She could've been brainwashed!

Mani, Mila doesn't lie...and I think she's right.

To: Allycat

Why?

From: Allycat

Why would Lauren do something to jeopardize her position in the group, or the group as a whole?!

To: Allycat

So who did it?

I wish I knew Mani......I really do

A/N: Finally typed it all out lol it's not that much but I'm on my computer so naturally I get distracted by YouTube videos haha. Anyways I'll have another update for you guys tomorrow hopefully and yeah comment vote and read byeeeee :-) :-P ;-) O:-)
