Riker's P.O.V.

My sweaty hands hesitated on knocking on the door. Her door.

I'm not going to mess this up, or am I?

I rubbed my hands with the little handkerchief, shifting the roses bouquet from one hand to another.

Let's not mess this up.

My hands slowly made contact with the door bell, as my anxiety took over me.

Moments later Ross came in view, making me furrow my eyebrows. I don't remember deciding on going out with my brother.

"Hey bro, " he grinned, his messy hair pulled backwards, "jee, Riker. You seem so nervous."

"I am anxious Ross. I've never liked someone so badly, " I choked out before he chuckled.

"You know me and Hailes set you guys up from the very start. Ruby likes you too. All you have to do is relax, and just be yourself. " he said pulling me in as I gulped nodding.

"Where are you taking her? Cause it seems like something fancy," Ross smiled stuffing his hands into his jeans pocket.

"Carthay Circle, " I replied making his eyes go wide. "Woah. That's like...The most expensive restaurant I know."

I nodded placing the bouquet on the counter. "Do you think she'll like it?"

"Riker, " he chuckled, "it's not about how expensive it is, it's about how special it is. I remember mine and Hailey's first date, it was a picnic in a very quiet yet beautiful place. It was pretty ordinary, but it was the best date I've ever had. Because it was special. So what I'm saying is, make it special. I know she'll love something that fancy, but on top of It all, you guys have to make the most of your time. Alright?"

My younger brother gives real good dating advice.

I heard a clucking sound of footsteps, knowing it's her, as I grabbed the boquet walking off to the source.

There she is.

How beautiful she looked, oh god I'm staring.

I couldn't help but have the same reaction of when I met her the first time, except that she got even more beautiful. Every day she does.

Her light faded peach color short dress, her cute heels, and her braided ebony hair, even her sparkly baby blue eyes.

Those plumped lips of hers seemed to draw me in so badly, I had to hold the urge to not kiss her here.

"Hey," she spoke softly, looking deep Into me.

"You look incredibly beautiful," I said before lowering my head to plant a soft kiss on her cheek.

It was an urge that pulled me in, and it seemed like I got defeated.

"You look great too," she blushed clutching her purse.

"Where's Lexi? She could've tagged along with us," I asked her scratching the back of my head.

"She kept me up all night long yesterday. She just slept, and Hailey and Ross are taking care of her for me." She said softly just as Hailey walked in, moving to Ross.

"Hold my hand? " I asked making her nod, smiling as her dimples shone.

"I'd be glad to."

I interlocked our hands, my eyes not leaving her figure.

I couldn't help but stare, she looked so petit compared to me. Her little strapless dress and the heels on her that made her look slightly taller, yet still small.
